The more I seem to put them together.. the less sense it makes.

What it clearly is tho, is the back and front shot of a mech.

Pretty much Bushwhacker
Well that's that for interest in getting anything new for a while.

Yay, it's a frankenmech medium with a bunch of made up variants instead of the ones with LF engines and Plasma rifles.

The legs don't bother me so much as the torso, the torso seems awfully tall and the missile attachment just seems placed rather high. The right arm does seem a bit odd but not as odd as the height of the CT.

Well the Bushwacker was always known for a long narrow torso, it was also given a chance at life, after FedCom captured a Mad Dog, so it would make sense to get some of the tall torso from there too.. Still I expect it to be about 10% bigger in total than a Crab, so not overly large.

Even here she has a tall CT/ST...

TT quirks for it were always interesting for it, she had low to the ground and narrow, both of those made it harder to hit, if you used quriks in TT...

Well the Bushwacker has 3 variants that have tech currently in game, and 5 other variant that have tech not in game currently.

Wasp, Valkyrie, Stinger, Crusader would've cost me money.

Assassin, Clint, Whitworth, or other 3025 era 'mech would've made me think.

3058 stuff? No thanks.

Hasn't stop PGI lately, just look at the Marauder IIC... only 3 versions of that mech use current tech, all other are made up by PGI.

I guess it's time to go whacking some bushes...hopefully the gundam turns out okay in-game because it would be sad to see such an iconic robbit suck popsickles. Then again, MWO has done that plenty of times already...

PGI's inevitable made-up energy variants will probably be the most popular ones. The missile boaters might be nice too for splatwork.

The X2 variant has 8 hardpoints and fits MWO's current tech, so I'm expecting 8 hardpoints across all variants except maybe a gimmick hero variant.

I don't know, I would love to see a side by side of the MW4 version and the MWO version once we get more of the profile just to see if I'm mis-remembering the MW4 version's proportions, the legs do look a bit tall right now, but that is also probably it's T-Pose so I'm not too surprised by that.

Yeah I wanna say the difference between the two is that the MWO one is more thin and tall while the MW4 version was a bit more boxy (equal height/width) in the torso.

One more mech from the Battletech cartoons. We have the Mauler, Wolfhound, Summoner, Mad Dog, Hunchback IIC, Timber wolf, Awesome and Centurion.

Now the Bushwacker.

Still missing the Axman and Hatamoto-Chi. And those are the ones I would actually pay for.

Well, so no light offering will be sad but will save me some cash. So many mediums and heavy stuff.

I hope the side torso MG hardpoints are mounted decently high...that might give this gundam some use. I guess it might make a mediocre 2 UAC/5 hillpoker if that's the case.

Honestly, from a game play point of view, I'd WANT it changed up a bit. A low, wide mech with primary weapons way out on the arms means a lot of players shooting the cover they're hiding behind or blasting the ally they're standing next to...

It looks like the MWO version is based more on this picture than the MW4 model. I think this is also what it looked like in MW3, if I'm not mistaken.

Am I the only one that thinks that looks a lot like the MW4 version? Posted Image

Sure the CT slope looks different, but the overall height is probably about on par with the MW4 version.
