Awesome event guys, many thanks for the opportunity!

Tried something a little different, don't think the folks who taught me all those years ago would appreciate, they were of the opinion that only nature should be captured in this way...

Apologies if its difficult to make out, first time not painting something organic!

Edit: A little something extra:

A tempest beyond the glass,
Beckons to the heart,
The Bushwacker will abide.

Welp. I haven't built a 'Mech in a long, long while, but this was about as good an excuse to dust off LDD as any:

Thankyou for providing an excuse to get the Lego out again after all these years! Would love this competition to become a regular thing with all new mech releases Posted Image

I've based the model as closely as possible on the orthographic and the concept art. It's fully articulated (torso/arms/legs/feet/toes) and quite happily stands up on its own, even when put into running poses.

Hope you enjoy!

This was made this in Model Creator for Game Maker. My models and textures were terrible and only got worse everytime I tried to make them "better". Transformers Devastation gave me the idea to try a psuedo-cell shading style. I'm not quite there yet, but every mech seems to get a little better.

Well - next time give us more time.... i worked several hours but I'm hardly finished with just one arm.

OK I'm stupid enough to try to make a Mech realistic. In case of our Bushwacker: 1t of ammunition in the arm
20 single shell shots per ton in MWO: so caliber 131.2mm
and i love the original desing with the cannon as spinal mount in the arm....

Posted Image

I lost lots of patience and a ton of nerves, to create the magazine - revolver, drum, helical mag - every option needed more room for those 20 bullets.
And I even decided to use PCTA ammunition (polymer cased telescoped ammunition) to reduce the length of the bullet.
Maybe I should have used 100% caseless ammunition.

Two rectangle magazines one for 12 the other for 8 bullets was the best i could get.
the feeder for the autoloader is between those magazines and should lob the shell through the horizontal shoulder joint.

speeking of the joint: i think the shoulder joint for the BSW has to parts - the round joint for vertical movement between torso and the magazine drum, while the horizontal is between the arm and the magazine

as said not finished... don't know if i return to work on it.....shouldn't have used a big caliber gun but a multi-barrel small caliber gun would have been much simpler

2h later... of hasty work...

Well...
I guess it's time to chime into it for me too.

You know? At first, i was feeling a little bit troll'y, thought of drawing the Barghest as a joke entry (you know, since it's a Quadruped that was canonically built from the Bushwacker), but decided to do something.... else instead.

We both know that the Bargest is the better Bushwacker - because Uac20 20 and Heavy Gauss

Wanted to work on this a little more but not sure if I will have time. Been having a real bad creative funk this year but no sense in not trying.
