'The Rats of Torment'. A small but well equipped mercenary bandit company that will opportunistically rip-off anyone before blowing their spoils on booze and hookers. The company has a reputation of being exceedingly lucky, all of their many enemies are kept in check by a delicate lattice of blackmail, debts, playing off rivals against each other, and friends of powerful friends that may or may not exist.

Their two Bushwackers were won in a game of blackjack from a lesser pirate lord, who insisted they don't have a prior owner that will want them back. He seemed very happy to offload them though.

jjm1 gets my vote. I might have preferred the legs be a bit shorter, but otherwise, love it. And the actual artwork itself, nitpicks on specifics notwithstanding, is downright amazing.

BTW I wouldn't have even seen this competition if it wasn't for you saying "there's a contest? " in the repainted concept art thread. So you get some credit for the piece
