You're not calling out my bs you're the only one saying I'm wrong. I can't provide evidence for something that doesn't exist because it hasn't happened and you're claiming it has and I told you to provide that.

I will note you're the only one saying I'm wrong too

Sure and Cry engine isn't the problem.

Trust me dude, make a thread about it, and you will see that I am not the only one.

never fail to give me a good laugh.

You claimed it it never happened. I just rejected you.

"I am right until proven wrong" LLLLOOOOOLL

If they do switch then I hope it's the Unreal engine.

I keep hearing how super easy it is to work with and why indie devs love it.

It "might" cut production time down with it's ease of use.

Yeah I hope they switch to it too

I think I remember one of the Kickstarter goals was like 500,000 K to fly a ship... I never loled so hard. It was something that had to do with the bare bones of a game.

It's worse... 1mil added space flight, 1.5mil added ship customization, 2mil added space combat... But there was no kickstarter. It was purely through their transversegame.com website.

Provide proof... I'll wait

April Townhall Russ mentions looking into a new engine because of current limitations of the current engine. Updating to new CryEngine version is about same amount of work as changing to a completely new engine. I dunno if this the proof you're looking for. And around 1:30:00 he says what he's unhappy about the current iterations of things.

https://youtu.be/Tum_CLRVqBU?t=1h27m

Setting the play speed to 1.5 makes it a bit more bearable...

Oh I know they are looking into a new engine thanks for clarifying that but no I was responding to Blood Woolf claiming that I was wrong and PGI has admitted to making bad design choices.

As for the Transverse thing lol yeah that's hella bad.

didn't claim you were wrong, but when someone doesn't give evidence and just asserts things, then I am well within the scope of reason to reject the claim. I am not one of your buddies and accepts everything you say.

keep lying tho, I never claimed you were wrong, I just rejected your claim.

I.E, its B.S until you prove it.

Where did he apologize that the leadership made a bad design decision?

The fact that you are ignorant, doesn't mean that I am going to take time out of my day to do the due diligence of research into the matter that would your burden to show.

If you want an easy answer. Ask Russ himself if their was any mistake made in MWO that he would admit to. Start from their and actually use your head.

Also that's not ignorant as an insult, it just means you lack the knowledge on the matter.

Also I don't know why it is an apology you wan't exactly. If i was russ I wouldn't give you one.

I'll give you a hint, start with the first townhall. it's 2 hours long but I am not going to sit and summarize for you were he "admits" that they made mistakes or bad decisions.that's 2 years ago so why in the earth would russ keep apologizing or repeating himself that they made mistakes?

Just like the B.S threads where players looking to 2014 keep chanting that "they are not going to hit the dates" I made a thread that basically said, that all the dates given on the 2014 year of development will be hit, and they were. Not one player came and made a response thread some months later stating that they were wrong, or apologized to me for making a thread a where I believe that they were gonna hit the dates.
Where is my apology? what about for the 3/3/3/3/ threads where i said it would work? and it wasn't gonna break the game. That the threads were pretty much not correct. Where is my apology?

maybe some people better start apologizing to others before they start demanding one from russ.

yea I think I am done. Gonna wait for the apologies in my inbox

Dude - YOU are the one asserting that Russ has said something, therefore the burden of proof *is* on you. Since it's you that is making the claim that is not common knowledge it's your responsibility to furnish the evidence that supports the claim.

Your claim is *invalid* until you prove it correct, not the other way around.

You can't make random assertions and state them as fact unless you have the proof or supporting arguments. That is debate 101. So it's really you that is making the argument from ignorance fallacy, not the people calling you out on it.

That's his sad MO.

It's fine... calling out his buff with facts and references means "you're proving his point". It's a cycle of futility.

The best part is that he doesn't provide his own facts and references, and requires you to go look for what he's seeing.

Great debate!

Well, imperius said that he has never seen PGI admit to a mistake in design decisions:

View PostImperius, on 10 September 2016 - 03:57 AM, said:

They won't shed light on it because PGI's number one issue is they can't admit the have made mistakes.

View PostImperius, on 10 September 2016 - 09:10 AM, said:

Just asking for you to provide proof. I'm sure Russ has admitted making mistakes in his life. I have not heard him say that for this game though so just provide the proof of where he said or posted it and I'll retract my claims. Until then they are still valid.

There is nothing to prove.
He is saying he has not seen it. He is stating his opinion....His personal experience

On the other hand, You are specificly addressing cases that he did... and you are even praising it greatly.

View PostBLOOD WOLF, on 10 September 2016 - 07:28 AM, said:

Becuase russ has already admited the mistakes that where made. So it takes a big man to admit he made mistakes; It also takes a bigger man to accept that the other guy made mistakes.

View PostBLOOD WOLF, on 10 September 2016 - 08:07 AM, said:

If you think he never admitted mistakes about the development of the game, then you are either ignorant, didn't care, or only believe the things you want.

So you must know something that we don't.
So as imperius said, show him and let him know the truth.

It is you that made a claim about an specific case.... so YOU need to provide proof!
The world has been working like this for ever.
If you claim you have seen something, You have to prove it.

Me?.. I only saw one case.. and it was not about a major game design and was fixed in a day.
https://twitter.com/...380205779263488

Its like calling someone out for saying that he has never seen rain on a barren desert... because honestly he hasn't.
If you know there has been rain... point us to a clue.. or a pic... or a video... something!

Or its like I claim I have created artificial negative gravity and start calling out mainstream physics BS... without providing any proof or evidence for my claim!
Mainstream physics has all the rights to call me out for talking BS, unless i provide proof!

And mods... please, for the love of god... close this thread!

*in Captain Janeway's voice (since I've been watching Star Trek on Netflix now)*
This has been a wonderful experience. Tuvok, I expect a full report on the recent events. Have it ready in one hour. I'll be in my Ready Room.

Tuvok: Yes, Captain.

Chakotay, the bridge is yours.

Chakotay: Aye. Captain.
