Need To Improve Performance

I have yet to still find a better way to improve gameplay. Now something i want to make clear is that some maps play amazing compared to others. Like HPG Manifold. Every time it is smooth and great! But then when i play River City it is choppy and crap every time. When i go to the training grounds to test out certain builds it is so smooth. I want my gameplay to be like it is when im in training grounds. This of course has to do with me only being by myself and not playing with others. Maybe its my internet connection? I thought i had good connection. But i noticed the other week when i went to my friends house that when i played MWO it was way way better. Like smooth and less choppy.
If anyone knows what this feels like let me know. I love this game and im trying to find new ways to improve performance. Its not that bad. As i said its average. And some maps play great and then others are always choppy and mess up my match. Again i am using low settings and have an average AMD r3 card. Bare minimum i think. And yes i know i could just buy a new PC or a better gaming card but right now this is all i have. Thanks Pilots.

Do disc clean up and defrag. Make sure there lots of room on the disc if possible. Virtual memory may be a problem in some instances.
Go to card settings. Turn everything down on that if its necessary. Update the card driver.
Fresh reboot. Hope for the best. If you havnt done some of these things then it should help a bit.
Even try making sure the computer is running cool may help in some instances. May require cleaning fans or heat sinks.

Disc cleanup sounds like a good idea.

My honest opinion though would be that it's better to just buy new hardware. If you really want decent performance out of this game you have to put up some bucks because it's not very well optimized. It sounds to me like you're employing every possible means of getting better performance but there's only so much you can do. You're trying to squeeze water from a rock with a system that weak.

It's.very likely your CPU is limiting you and not your vcard. You might look into a CPU upgrade. Depending on the age of the laptop it might be cheap to do on eBay.
I would look into over clocking extra 10% increase might be all you need to get by.

Intel integratrd 3000hd card (sucks)
I5 clocked at 2.3.
6mb ram total. Non o that ddr5 crap

The only reason i can remotely play is because of:
Throttle stop
Razer cortex game enhancer thingy
Google em, download em, run em.
Eye on the prize of a sager notebook. Probably cyber monday is best bet for bang for buck

I have three monitors running Eyefinity off one 7970, and it handles everything just fine. If I needed better performance I could OC the card, but it already has a huge power draw and heat output.

If by Chance you are playing MW:O via WiFi: stop that and change to a Cable connection . Meaning, connect your Laptop and Router using a Cable .
Packet loss on WiFi "can" be pretty horrible...it may well be some of the crappy performance you experience as soon as you play in an actual Match is related to heavy Packet loss and LOADS of errorchecking taking up resources .
