Here is what I have emailed support.

"Yesterday I went through all my mechs AGAIN setting up favorites because it looked like it was in the hot fix. Guess what! Today NO FAVORITES!!"

+1. Totally reproducible. Have lost favorites 3 times and now I am done until re-patched.

Already mentioned it in another thread, but yes.

Not that i use the favorites tab to pick mechs, still would want to know which mechs i like playing the most with that filled in star.

PGI response to my ticket in OP as follows:

Hey there,
Really sorry to hear that, however we're not seeing any issues here with the favorites list on our end as well as we havent seen any other reports since the hot fix saying this is still causing issues. When you get a chance can you please send us some screenshots here of this issue occurring for you so we can get some more information on what may be causing this problem?
To take a screenshot, press the PRINT SCRN button on your keyboard at any point in-game and a screenshot will be saved in the following location on your PC:
C:\Users\<USER NAME>\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online\ScreenShots
Thanks,

My response to their response:
Not surprised you guys cannot recreate. Any screenshots I could take are not going to help identify cause.
This link http://mwomercs.com/...mech-list-lost/ was started for problem after the patch. HOWEVER there are posts at the bottom of it of people saying they have the problem after the hotfix also.

This link http://mwomercs.com/...94#entry5387994 shows that I am not the only person with the problem STILL, AFTER the hotfix.

Hey there,
Thanks for getting back to us with this additional information. We were actually able to reproduce this issue in house this morning actually however at the moment there isn't any clear steps to reproduce. Considering this information and the links you've provided below as well from other folks encountering this issue, QA has gone ahead and re-opened this issue so we'll be looking into getting this sorted out moving forward.

I'm sure it's a feature™.

How does this break so fast after being implemented?

Then again, this is PGI... so...

What? Am I the only one who noticed this?

It means they got it to happen but don't have clear steps to make it happen. Unfortunately, that means it's not really far along in the debugging process.

It didn't break after being implemented. It has never worked.

So random button smashes and they got it to reproduce, but repeating those button smashes doesn't consistently create the issue. As a programmer, I hate when that happens.

I am also suffering from lack of Favorites, so the bug is pretty widespread.

At least they've acknowledged that there is a bug.

Maybe like you just THOUGHT it was your favorite and maybe told that lil mech he was your favorite but deep down in your <3 you knew it wasn't true and maybe PGI knew it too so they didn't wanna lie to the poor lil robot so they didn't keep him as a liar favorite. I'm not really a programmar or nothins but that's probably what hyappened
