How did it feel? Testing ground seems pretty lame from what I could tell.
On another note, does anyone want to do a couple private matches?
Judging by the queue counters we are actually 2 players away from a 4v4 public match! So if ya queue up might get a quick match.

We mainly lulzed about
300 damage potential on a Kodiak SPL boat, 130 ERML boat, and a 3LPL WubShee can pump out 300 damage (a full minute) of constant LOLpha...of that pitiful 30 damage alpha (the new SHS, lots of those)
Though, while the SHS are more than marginally better, they do cost you a lot (in tonnage, crit slots and firepower)

The nerf to engine heatsinks went way to far.

Well, we're moving from "mixed weapons" (anything that generates heat) to "just dakka" all in one PTS.

If you can't generate a higher alpha than PPFLD weapons with lasers, then the clear choice will usually be PPFLD weapons.
We've already seen that reality in this game when lasers were considered 2nd class noob weapons.
