The speed worries me. As such, I'm still on the fence.

I'm gonna get the Night Gyr basic pack. But I am not gonna spend my own money. Certain someone will be forced to buy it for me.

I'm debating...

It's no Nova Cat (Interestingly enough, Sarna infers the Nova Cat is based on the Gyr) but I could Frankenstein up a configuration that's close!

Plenty of No JJs though...

Bish, move along... Nothing to see here. Posted Image

The most important question is... Who broke the rules by giving you your card BACK? C_C

A couple would have been in service by Tukayyid so ComStar possibly recovering some satisfies the rules I impose on my MWO play, but still need to finish off buying the initial invasion Omnis for the C-Bills first. Maybe later.

I'm blaming Russ... Everyone blames him for everything anyways. I might as well take advantage of the copious levels of derision. Posted Image

I'll probabily buy the standard pack and add the hero later. It seems a very good mech.

I'll be getting a standard pack, thanks to the kindness and whimsy of a person that decided to do a good size drawing awhile back. I'm looking forward to it, should be a good companion for friendly KDK 3s.

Will look good in my crosshairs. Contrary to most people I am not afraid of what is essentially an underarmoured Assault. Not in the least.
But it does look nice and I hope it does sport LHS (and visual LHS effects).

Very tempted.
Free tonnage and hardpoints are sweet.
Speed and locked arms are not.

But I'm waiting to see the quirks, if it will have any.

Quirks? On a Clan mech? You should know better than that. Quirks only show up on freak occurrences for Clan mechs, not something that is obviously going to be great without them. (Kodiak is a very, very weird exception)

And I don't understand all the complaints about its speed. I guess everyone is just used to NASCAR Eurobeat matches.

Not for Nascar.
It's because it's going to be very slow in twisting AND it has not arm actuators, except the upper-----> outmaneuvered by any average light pilot.
Big guns, but imo a lot of bad pilots will complain, u'll see Posted Image

It absolutely need Twist quirks.
And I'm absolutely sure pgi is not aware of this (esactly like the PXH no structure quirks on arms when she came out).

Night Gyr speed is fine, 69.7 after speed tweak is more than enough to keep up with the pack... which is also XL400 speed on a Kodiak.

Yep, it is.
But still slow twisting and locked arms, except up and down.

Only 20% slower twisting than the Marauder Bounty Hunter with max engine (assuming no quirks on Night Gyr), which is more or less the same principle. It's not as bad as one might think. Also the Bounty Hunter is a good choice for getting used to only having an upper actuator, same with running Ebons.
