I would totally buy some camo that's on sale...

IF I COULD USE IT ON MY INVASION CLAN MECHS!

Seriously PGI. I want to give you money, but you just keep making it so hard.

I know right?

It's okay to put decals on your Wave 1 Invasion mechs, but nope can't change the camo pattern. Not that i would want to change it for my TBR, but still... literally every other mech in the game that's not Clan Wave 1 can have different patterns.

Y u do dis?

Russ said they will make the change. Meanwhile just grab the camo you like with the discount prices.

I remember hearing him say that like...2 years ago. This is definitely one of those Soon™ things PGI is notorious for.

Russ said it recently on Twitter. All mechs will be camo friendly before new year. Of course, I am not holding my breath.

Too bad you can't buy a camo pattern one time... and use it on every single robit.

With them making factions completely meaningless in CW, this seems so much like a "better sell them now!", sale, because they will be wortheless/unwanted later.

Wallet closed! Permanently

I wonder if there are still people buying these "permanent" (lol) camos for a single chassis. Even with a discount this is overpriced for 3-4 mechs. Sure there are like 4 people around here who have 12 of the same mech variant but mostly this is just wasting money.

I buy one single shot for every mech and be done with camo, bought a permanent camo once for catapults and instantly regretted it (because by the time you couldn't apply it to founders mech so only camo for 3 other mechs for that MC price, yay).

Before which new year... 2017 or 2019?

I think paint colors, cockpit items, decals, etc are a really nice part of the game and allows us to personalize mechs in a cool way.

However, 1.25-3.75 dollars (250-750 MC) per ONE cockpit item, decal, etc is just way too much. Realistic price, where buyers could feel that they got good value for money, would be 10% of that, e.g. 25-75 MC per item.

If the prices would be realistic, PGI would probably make more money overall. I personally would love to buy this stuff but I'm not rich enough that I could justify spending that much real money for a single item.

I'd also be OK if PGI just let me use the standard TimberWolf geometry (remove the luggage racks) so I could apply the standard camo. Personally, I hate how the luggage racks look, but I like the c-bill boost. At this point I just want to make my TimberWolf pretty. It's been 3 years...come on PGI.
