If this lost tech has the precision needed to land head shots at 1000m will PGI add a COF or circle error probable. Most likely eliminate the 90% of the head area and add more heat and armor.
Thoughts/opinion on the future of FPS not just MWO and people complain about macros....

I'm aways interested in new tech... Appreciate the link!
For gaming and gamers who are not quite ready to delve into VR tech, this would be a gateway in that direction without fully committing.

So you're telling me you've ran the game max settings at 2k and never ever dipped below 60? Cause if so you're a liar.
Plays doom at 4K max settings and has never dipped below 60 for me.

That's because Doom was made in 1993. Printers can run it. Duh.

You were supposed to be offended at my obvious stupidity.
Sorry I can let anyone at PGI that "might" read that get any ideas that it's acceptable to have poor optimization when your current hardware is in the hipster edgelord category.

A quick look at my sig would have told you what rez i'm running. As for your "liar" remark, I don't recall making any claims on fps other than to observe that the game runs well for me, and I stand by that. I don't give a rats arse what games you want to compare MWO too with regard to performance, it is what it is, and it's hardly a problem for my rig.

"Running well" is too lose of a term. A game as old as this should never dip under 60 with our current hardware for what it looks like. As for the res ID like to run 4K but then you better get out a magnifying glass to read the UI that doesn't scale...
No I did not see your rig definitely a nice rig you have there.

How many people can actually tell the difference between 60 and 50 FPS, instead of merely claiming so?

Not many the issue is when you go from 60 to 20 or 30 randomly that is noticeable. The huge fluctuations is a big thing MWO suffers from. No matter what hardware you throw at it it seems.
Terrain popping in this game is some of the worst I've seen. It would be nice to have a draw distance slider like in wow to help stop it.

Dipping below 60 FPS and not being able to play the game are two very different sides of the coin sir.
Exaggerate much?

Amen...
Sorry, I continue to struggle with players who espouse magical performance numbers in "other games" who infer they can't play MWO at any acceptable level.
Absolutely yes, there's a huge difference between "not being able to play" and "dipping below 60 FPS. And if he is bottoming out at 20 FPS, that 40+/- swing IS NOT entirely the fault of MWO optimization. To be clear, I'm not giving PGI a pass... Things could be better. But I grow weary of embellishment and hyperbole.
When a player with a 6 YO AMD and an old GTX 480 manage a median FPS of 35 at 1440x900 on max everything not dip below 20... I struggle to buy the inference that someone with a Titan X does without concluding there's something either seriously jacked with their system or their embellishing for effect.
