How can I stop it from flashing?
, I don't need it to flash constantly, just needs to turn solid, is enough for me to see new message or log in

It's annoying and I don't think there is a way to turn if off yet.

For me it keeps flashing even tho no message or invite was sent (from unit or friendslist alike)

It's a bug.. and it is a recent one from what I've noticed. If it bugs ya, the simple fix is to click on it..

though, perhaps there is a message, or something waiting.. I haven't tried this yet, but maybe next time i will.. Go through and click on all your friends on the list, and see if there is a message you are missing..

Other than that, lets hope for a fix

Yea, 90% of the time, it is just flashing. For real messages they need to add a beep or some sound.
