what i dont get is why if you promote the centurion as an ideal starter mech, we dont get it in the founders package...

"as a good all around mech" everybody should be able to buy this mech, and not just founders, who one could assume already know what they're doing. In short taking the basics from people is a bad idea.

OMG! Words cant explain all emotions after watching video. Really nice mech destruction + great sound of machinegun. Cant wait for testing!

P.S.: not my mech, but nicely done.

Hhhmm.. probably because of the Hunchback... I'm not too savvy, but seems the differences come from the variant/armament you choose.
In my personal opinion, the Hunchback is MUCH better looking

Yep. I don't need an all-purpose mech for my hangar. After a decade of playing one Mechwarrior game after another I've learned what I like and what role I want to fill. Given the nature of most Mechwarrior fans it's safe to say that most Founders are in a similar boat.

Battles are going to devolve into specialties. Your scouts will push forward and locate the enemy. You mediums will attempt to flank the line, while your heavy and assault mechs will take the brunt of the assault. Meanwhile the Catapult and Trench-Bucket drivers will be in the rear, laying down missile barrages.

All purpose mechs like the Centurion encourage a lone wolf play style, which is a great way to get killed. It's not fast enough to be a scout, not armored enough to be a brawler, insufficient weapons to stand on the front-line, and it lacks long-range oomph. It will be great as a training mech while you learn the ropes, but eventually you'll settle into something else.

Unless you're a die-hard Centurion pilot who manages to get into the enemy's rear-area. Then you'll be a damnably hard pest to dig out.

Red - SL, green - ML and purple - LL. Since MPL green too (in some video's Atlas mount these) - there is great chance whats pulses have same color as beam variant.

IMHO a great mechanic for green/red colorblinds, so they can differentiate the beams.

A great idea for color blindness. The new cb colors to seem fit the visible light spectrum. Just as Red is the lowest and weakest frequency, green is medium, and blue is the highest, it appears that for cb they go orange-yellow-purple or yellow-blue-purple.
