I've had TeamSpeak for a while with 7 different channels for different Units. (I still love my Clan Wolf friends) and I had Overwolf and I'm not sure why i deleted it. So I'm going to check it out.

You guys are freaking awesome!

If you have an hour to waste, lol. With my bad eyesight, I run the ball in a passing League. And everyone knows I'm going to run the ball. All you have to do is stop me.....(my eyes are better now but I was not able to tell players apart and players from Refs, lol)

P.S. You can also tell my bad hands and eyesight by how long it takes me to find plays and make changes.

Couple of things then I can recommend if its hard to turn on the PC..

I had to go down the dark patch and watch countless HOURS of youtube videos about how to use OBS/Twitch about settings what not to do what to do etc, and it took A LONG TIME but I learned it and learned the hard way. This is one way and might take you a while but you gain from the experience about how good and bad it is.

Second is that you can do what Aleksandr Sergeyevich Kerensky said is to use overwolf its easy and this might be a gateway for you to learn the ins and outs and progress to OBS at a later date once you get the hang of it..

Yea, if anyone had told me Overwolf could do that I would have kept it.

Hey bro, I certainly remember you. I've been thinking that some of us that work well together should group more. I've for some reason made so many friends they are hard to keep track of who is who. I have to admit, I often do not remember some of the people that ask to be my friend(that makes me feel bad). I want to start keeping a notebook of names and my recording the games will help.

The chat here sucks so we would need to pass messages.

Don't record with Fraps, it's terrible.
Use OBS instead, check the official forums for instructions to record lossless video. Compress your recording afterwards for easy uploading, just make sure the original recording has YouTube recommended settings for everything except bitrate. I use Avidemux for compressing video, it's free and it can also do basic editing, including lossless. If you re-encode at double the recommended bitrate you'll end up with high quality video that doesn't take forever to upload.

I agree with Satan N Stuff (Did I just agree with satan?) but when I edit and upload to youtube I try to make my videos under 15 minutes and if I can about 10 minutes and takes about 10 minutes to compress the edit to a HD quality and about 15 minutes to upload to youtube...

Yea, it only does 30 seconds at a time.....I normally do not like things running in the background so I'm turning it off.

If you have an Nvidia card, I'd recommend using Shadowplay. It's very easy to use and it lets you grab up to the last 20 minutes of whatever you were doing. It also has built in stuff for streaming. I used OBS for a long time and it's good. The Shadowplay stuff makes things a lot easier and has less of a performance hit.

I have a GT 740 with 4 gigs ram and I cant run shadowplay on my video card I would like to try it out to see how it works in case its better than OBS

I have a GTX 550 i with 12 gigs of ram so when I can, I'm upgrading the video card, power supply with suggestions from Void Angel. After my surgery and if the wife does not wreck the car again......I should be able to get those and an upgraded 'gaming" monitor in a couple of months.

I've had one for years but for Madden. Right now I do not really care about streaming, I want to record games. I'm finding OBS to be easy to use now that I have it figured out. So I'm just recording some and I might post some later.

One thing I've learned was to only post the good ones, lol. My right hand hurt so much today I have not even been able to type. I should not be on here now but I took a Benadryl injectant and took a very strong pain pill. I'm feeling little pain ATM but I'm itching really bad already and my side of the bed will be covered with blood in the morning.

It is taking a long time to write this, I'm so out of it. But tomorrow before the patch will be that last PT i will have for a while so i'm going to try to hook up with someone. I'll be home all day tomorrow.

In the future, I have some training videos planned using maps and paint programs. LOl, I'm falling out of the chair. I'm going to upload 3 games before I pass out. The first one is an embarrassing beat down by -MS- over the Unit I'm in an FW match. In a couple of days, I'm going to post this on our site and explain, IMO, the 3 major mistakes we made in the first wave which doomed us. I will ruffle some feathers but I feel that it is my duty to speak up.

I'm also gong to add two other games I recorded using a new mech whose pilot trees I;m working on. The one in polar I'm ok with and even the other one with low damage in River City. I sacrificed myself knowing that the enemy would come down the H line to take our base. I value a team victory over personal stats But even though I kept our base safe, I still died too early fighting two mechs that were bigger than I was and I should have stayed alive longer but.....

I am very happy with the quality of the recording even though I'm at only about 55 FPS rate, Oldbob10025 hooked me up with a program that is supposed to help with that called Razer Cortex which I will try tomorrow.

I think where Overwolf will come in for screen shots.

I did not make any changes except for installing Razer Cortex and now my recordings are black screens again.

Hmm well thats not suppose to happen. I run Razer Cortex with OBS studio and it works fine.. oh oh Run OBS as Admin and that be your problem.
