I tried it without Razer and the same thing happened. And Overwolf was also a black screen.

I will try as Admin, thanks.

Woot, that seems to work!

OK, what I'm doing to working on pilot trees. I go for the "First Victory" bonus then I move to the next one. This will be the 5th time with this Mech/build which is a sniper build. This will be the 3rd time "everyone died on me" and the 2nd where I was not watching the time. I went on the mountain because others were blocking my way on the saddle. I also found out the problems shooting down with torso mounted weapons.

I recommend lowering your ingame mouse sensitivity. Its way to high. Your literally skipping multiple pixels per movement. This should i prove your aim a bit.

Here are my limited experiences:

FRAPS
I bought Fraps back in 2013 to record my mwo matches. Had I known that was the last year the application was actively developed, I would not have paid money for it. At the time, I could only start Fraps after the match started, and I absolutely had to remember to stop Fraps before I exited the match. Otherwise, the MWO client would crash every single time. MWO was 32bit only at that time, and I have not tried it again recently. Since the application is no longer being developed, I chose to move on.

OVERWOLF
I used overwolf for a time, which had a couple of nice features. It recorded the matches without any issues and it would put the name of the current speaker in your teamspeak channel on your screen. I learned that, through some unknown combination of key presses, I would get an Overwold menu pop up in my face during the middle of a match. I had to finish the match with that stupid menu obstructing my screen. It happened several times, and I never took the time to figure out how I caused the menu to appear. I found it easier to just uninstall it.

PLAYS.TV
This came with my AMD Radeon software. No idea if this works with non-AMD video cards. This software flawlessly and automatically records my entire MWO session, lets you publish your videos to their social media site if you chose, unlike Fraps the video files have good compression, and I have noticed no additional load on my pc while I play the game.

One thing I don't like is the lack of a voice activated mic function. Always On or off are your only options for the microphone.
When always on, the mic in my Corsair Vengence 1500 picks up all button presses, mouse clicks, and heavy breathing. Not to mention a steady hiss from what is most likely the fan noise coming from the file servers sitting next to me. Teamspeak can filter this out, so I'm at a loss as to why plays.tv does not.

I have my ingame mouse and the mouse software all the way down. I think it is my bad hand along with having to use a brace on it while playing. I'm going to have to stop soon and ice it up.

I
The poor use of an Airstrike.....but score one for Flamers! (even though I had mu buttons mixed up at first, lol

In this match, I'm using a favorite tactic. I wait till the enemy is inside then jump down and take their base, this forces some of them out which should give my team an advantage. Not much EX but it is a win.

OBS has those audio options. And I need to start using them, I'm just coming off of a cold and I sound rough, lol.

And I know what everyone is thinking..sure those lights are cute, but where is the beef? So I dusted off an assault for you.

OBS has a setting you can click the cog wheel and hit filters you can set the noise level so you dont pick up the fan in the background

I found the ones to quiet my room or to only get the push to talk audio from my end. What I'd like is to find out how to boost what others are saying, it sounds really low to me.

I am working on lowering my Mic but I do want to give a little commentary. To maybe explain what I'm doing. Not just the good things but the dumb ones. Like in two of these, I forgot to turn on my Logitech gaming software which sets up my G13 Gamepad so I had to boot it up to move. And I had to do the same with Fire Control once. I like the way the OBS does not show these popping up and stays on the MWO screen but I do feel like I should mention why I'm moving etc, lol.

But I also want to give my thoughts at the moment, like in the canyon when I heard someone ask for help and I helped out and then I saw and ran after that Hunchback who I flamed. And the, really not thinking, to scare away two lights from a teammate I sent an Airstrike till I could get there. When it hit I realized that they were fast enough to dodge it and my teammate was not. I still think it might have saved him.

I have mine so it cancels out the background noise (my AC) as its hot as Therma at my house but picks up my voice as I have my snowball mic on a swivel close by to give comments or make videos..

The cog wheel will help you set that up for ya..

Oh, and just for the sake of knowing, Windows 10 comes with the Xbox app.
I have never owned an Xbox console, nor do I have any idea why M$ gave the app that name. However, it is supposed to allow Windows 10 to natively record PC games. Unfortunately, it would just give me some non-descriptive "unable to record" message when I tried it in MWO.

Will download and install OBS when I've got an opportunity to try it out....

MY PC was running slow and as i found out, a lot of things were simply not working because they never wrote a lot of drivers for older devices when they came out with Windows 10, which is Microsoft for you. I went back to Windows 7.

And I'm a PS4 guy myself, I simply hate Microsoft....

The desktop is what sounds are coming from the game and anything you have from the computer such as Teamspeak/music etc.. while the mic/aux is whats being said from you into a mic..

That is what I thought, but what is OBS's push to talk button?

The big whiny baby survived...lol. I have to wait till Monday to get the date of my first surgery. They want to do both of my hands.

I was told that my right hand has lost motor function but still has sensory function.

And my left hand has motor function but has lost sensory function.

I'm not 100% what this means...lol

People that have watched my Youtube videos of me play keep saying, turn your mouse sensitivity down. It is turned all the way down, it is simply my hand shaking.

And if you ever see them, you will notice a lack of good torso turning because I just can't do it. I've noticed that really good players time their torso twist with the firing rate of their weapons. I tend to just stand and unload until one of us dies. This is one of my 14 major mistakes I still make.

When playing a light, I'm supposed to be running circles around Assaults and I can't do it well.

Here is one thing that clued me into how important torso twisting is. It is simply adding up the amount of damage after a match. At my Tier of 5.4, most are within the 300-700 range. At Tier 2 and 1, there will often be some doing damage in the 1000's and altogether much more damage when you add them up.

I believe that this is due to the better players spreading out their damage thus forcing more damage to be done to win.
