I think with all this new mechs coming out and all this quirks being added that it is time for the timber and storm crow to get their 2 weapon module slot.. like practically all mechs have 2 weapon module slots and some even have 2 wep/mech module slots.

I think this 2 clan workhorse mechs need some love too

I'm inclined to agree as well. They're very strong, but, they're more normalised now with many mechs that can outpace them in various areas. Balance seems to be in a good enough place to warrant it.

the single weapon mod slot idea seems a little dated at this point.

It would be a little different if a single weapon module slot was a common theme as a balancing measure with all other top performing Clan mechs, but it obviously not the case.

Dervish, it would only be power creep if it would put the SCR and TBR absolutely over other mechs in their class. But it would not, it would put them in line.

Hell, the case for the SCR is easy. HBKIIC is regarded as the best medium out there, and it has 2 weapon slots. Is it regarded as the best because it has 2 weapon slots? Would a 2nd weapon slot for the SCR make it the new KDK-3?

It's power creep because you're having to adjust mechs that were already really good to fight at the next level of Kodiak 3s. The power curve is growing at a creeping pace.

It would be only one weapon module slot more, that's not really power creep for me. Only one weapon slot left for me cause I'm fit most of the time radar derp and seismic. When something is power creep then it is the Hunchback IIC cause of fully customizable chassi+high mounts+jump jets and not the Stormcrow for example.

Not even close.
Clan mechs in general were ballanced out rather well before the KDK was even released. With that in mind, the module slot issue should have been fixed long ago.

So am I to believe the EBJ has 2 weapon mod slots because of the Kodiak? Or perhaps it should have three? You know, because Kodiak3.

I agree with the Realists as opposed to the Normalists--HBK needs a reduction, as does the Night Gyr(?). It's so bloody obvious that the SCR and TBR are the baselines upon which Clan Mediums/Heavies should be judged that anything blatantly beyond them, respectively, needs to be addressed... Lest PGI and MWO fall victim to one of the handful of guaranteed-to-kill-your-game features such as Power Creep, which has already taken root.

It's not like Timber Wolves or Storms are top tier mechs already or anything. It's not like we're already having a problem with power creep or anything. Nope. We should buff everything.

I agree that the myst lynx should get 6 more weapon module slots and should be able to equip and xl 400 too .

No!!! Those two mechs have been some of the best performers in the game since release, they really don't need the help, especially since Clans have some serious chronic under-performers that would be much more deserving of some love (MLX, KFX, Ice Ferret). But mostly, NO MORE POWER CREEP!!!
