Yeah theres a goodchance they wont since theyve had years to do it. But i think they could make more money doing it, and if they decide they could then maybe... hey maybe if they actually do the engine upgrade at some point they might not have the resources for new mechs so maybe then. Though thats IF we get a engine upgrade.

I'm thinking along "new maps" myself.

Maybe, JUST F'ING MAYBE, Russ realized the absolute WASTE it was to completely REPLACE the maps. He's now brought back ALL the old versions of maps that have been revamped.

NOW, we'll have:

OLD Caustic Valley

OLD Forest Colony

OLD Forest Colony Snow

OLD River City

OLD Frozen City

I never could understand why they just didn't call the new versions of the maps as "New [Map name]" and leave the old.

It would seem like a GREAT way to have 'more' content...

Possibilities (in order of hope):

1. He is selling the game to someone that will actually do it the justice it so rightly deserves that will stick to the lore for a change.

2. He is finally going to fix FW so that the winners will not be determined by which side the mercs happen to be on that week.

3. He is finally going to fix all of the bugs and ban all of the hackers.

Or better yet, all of the above! Seriously though, we will know when we know and no sooner than that.

Lets face it, most good FPS/Simulations have a life span of about 3-4 years. Just look at the Battlefield line.
