Don't know if there was already such a topic, but...

After rescaling default camo on the Jester looks ugly. Can you fix, pls? Cause the camo is a part of hero mech. It is included in a cost, i think... Look: the old one looks happy, and the new one dont.

- You have "low texture" in settings? I like how Jester looks now. Even more than before. Right now it have pretty sharp and nice color (after some color change):

You need to turn up "Object Detail" and more importantly "Texturing" in the advanced video options to make your mech and other mechs look better in the game.

It does look like they made the low settings even lower in their recent model and texture passes, so yeah, turn your settings up.

Don't forget "Particles"... Between that, "Object Detail", and "Texturing", which all need to be on "Medium" at least, you'll also get the Lighting that should be rendering on them while at a reasonable viewing quality. While you're at it, make sure your Anti-Aliasing is on FXAA, otherwise you'll be dragging your computer down. :)

- I just turn off FXAA. Also I change everything to low except textures.

You're lucky, then. When I tried to turn my graphics settings that low, MWO crashed on me repeatedly. PGI's done such bad coding that I'm forced to have Anti-Aliasing enabled in some form (in my case, FXAA worked best), and my Object Detail and Texturing set to Medium at the minimum. Then I found that I couldn't get city lighting without having Particles set to a minimum of Medium, so now I've had to turn that up as well.

[EDIT:] BTW, nice Tiger Jester. :)

- Yeap I play around settings a lot to bring nice FPS and in same time good visual. :)
Also I have not top drivers for my nVidia GT640, they cause some problems. But after turning glass and monitors in mech - game work just smooth.

I wouldn't say they've done a great job, but not bad. For most people the game never crashes. I also run the game without AA just fine, though I have most settings on very high with particles and effects lowered a bit.
Also note that running lower settings wont always give you better performance, which may explain your crashing. If you take all the load off your video card you're going to overload/bottleneck on your cpu. For many people medium settings will run just as well, or better, than low.
If you're forced to play on low/medium that's a pretty good indicator you need to be saving up for a new video card, or entire pc if your cpu is weak (this game needs a powerful cpu).
The new line of Nvidia cards is making high performance gaming very affordable. The $200 GTX1060 is a beast of a card for the price.

- Really true in my case... but GTX1060 in my city cost not 200$ but 410€ and that price a little high for me right now...Also I anyway need to change my cpu.

I avoid using particles on anything other than low. I have a pretty hefty computer, but enabling particles just makes the framerate ridiculously variable.

I also turn of PP and AA.
PP looks bad. Why do game developers try to emulate a camera?? Eyes dont have depth of field. AO looks bad in most games.
FXAA is a blurry mess, MSAA isnt much better, and TXAA is too demanding.

Theyve also done an absolutely shameful job of implementing PCM. So i have to have shaders on medium to low. Other wise you see awful swimming on the landscape shader.

All these problems, and the game still looks very dated. The mechs are the only half decent looking thing in game, and even that's hit and miss.

How high a resolution do you have set? Having that too high dragged everything down on the computer that I use. I did find however that Resolution '1280x720', with Texturing 'Medium', Object Detail 'Medium', Particles 'Medium', Anti-Aliasing 'FXAA', and everything else on 'Low' allowed me to get a usable FPS amount. I can look around the map at Mechs and most terrain properly as well, but have noticed there's still some sections of terrain that aren't rendering properly at long range. It actually makes me angry that PGI couldn't code it to perform better. <_<

I use 1920x1200. I always use vsync. I get constant 60fps with the settings mentioned.

Does it do better at all with VSync disabled?
