So whats your thoughts on them? I like the interesting camo, but I am seriously liking the loadout on the Timberwolf hero. And I am really looking forward to some heavy dakka builds for for the Direwolf hero.

Dear god I would ******* kill for an honest to god urban map designed around brawling. almost all the damn brawling maps are gone. A serious, urban heavy map that brawl builds can flourish would be a godsend.

Clan Mechs, Heroes, just a few different hardpoints, nothing new or interesting.

Omni Heroes should be like this if we want nothing to be P2W.
It would be great if PGI could make Heroes interesting without making them P2W, but I don't have any idea how it could be realised beside making them stand out (appearance wise).

Well, maybe custom geo like on the special Urbanmech variant.
Alternatively, jack up the C-Bill booster so that buying a hero basically removes the spacebucks grind.
In the grand scheme of things, PGI kind of put themselves in a corner on this issue by having hero hardpoints and quirks be locked behind a paywall.

Yeah, PGI should spend more time (re)creating more custom geometries because for me, they do make your special (aka real money) 'Mechs feel....... special.

Since they are finally doing new stuff by bringing out omnimech heros, they could at least start releasing omnipods for them for normal cbills, maybe after a delay like with normal mechpacks even.
Could even go and jack up the cbill booster on hero variants and give an option to buy them for cbills without the booster, entirely removing any chance for p2w while also giving a big reason to buy them. I mean, I sure would like a double cbill mech, or at least 50% boost to tie into the premium time.

So Russ was playing semantics when he said it wants a NEW CHASSIS, just new VARIANTS.
Way to go Russ, you should have been a lawyer. Next time you tease something make it worthwhile teasing and maybe make it REAL content to get yourselves more then 3 months ahead on payroll.

So at first I was excited.
Then I looked at it.
Then I looked at it some more.
Pattern is kinda goofy, hardpoints are meh.

I wouldn't mind that due to then they take the route of more or less Wargaming. "Here pay real money for near no cost rearm-refit and bonus credits and XP to reduce the grind while using this unit" And the unit is just a sidegrade and not really super powerful it is like "if you drove the non-premium of this, you know what to do, just has a few little adjustments to make it different, not all are bonuses".
I am pretty meh on them, maybe now we can get clan mastery packs for those who want them. I have 0 interest as mostly an IS player. So, I guess I'll just wait for the coders to figure out how to make something interesting be possible in MWO that wasn't before.
Damn I wish they would just release new assault as an asymmetrical battlemode and stop trying to do symmetrical objectives in MWO. Would be more interesting with asymmetrical objectives.

Really? I love the look of it.. But then again i love that color combo, Purples/blues/yellows.. Yowzerss!
hard points are not all that exciting.. But for me, it is all about getting the +30% c-bill booster with out having to spend 55 bucks on ala-cart, or buy a steam pack which comes with an IS mech, that i would never use on my Clan account.
