These aren't mech packs, they're individual reinforement mechs, just as if you were buying any of the other hero's (or last year's loyalty reward variants) individually from the gift store. Ember, Oxide and Huggin actually cost more than this kitfox and adder do. Except for 3, the medium hero's all cost $15 or more. Except for the Dragons and quickdraw, all the other heavy heros are $20 or more, and except for the awesome and victor ones all the assault hero's are $26+. The pre-order bonus is likely the fact they're discounted from where the IS hero's of the same weight are (other than Anansi) and they include standing cockpit items, and all that superior clan tech.

EDIT: Actually, none of the images are accurately showing the stock loadouts, and most of them don't even show the appropriate omnipods that people are paying for. This is an odd decision.
This is true for all of them. The hardpoints on these mechs don't even allow the configurations shown without swapping a lot of pods.
There needs to be an asterisk w/ disclaimer next to these images that indicate the images do not reflect actual hero mech configurations.

It clearly says "artwork does not match final loadout"

I don't care, because I'm not paying for these overpriced mechs. But if I was paying for them, I'd want to see the omnipods I was paying for. I'd like to see where the 2E on the Kit Fox side torsos are located, for example.

Sold per each, as if they were hero add-on to Mech packs. Only in this case you can buy just the hero for cash and obtain all the other variants for CBills.

It says this where exactly? I looked up and down purchase screen and see this nowhere.
Nevermind, I see the disclaimer now on the smaller images for each.

Acquiring any one of these Hero 'Mechs prior to the deadline would qualify you for the base Clan Reward.
Acquiring any six would qualify you for the Top-Tier Clan Reward.

Yes, true. I guess if I wait for the Summoner-M to be released for MC or Cbills, then I could just paint one red. A hero version with a Nikolai Malthus warhorn would have been cool though.

You'd get better deals on the lights and mediums by just waiting for them to be put in-game and waiting for them to go on sale for the typical 30-50% off MC prices.
Regardless, the pre-order is only financially really worth it if you want a heavy or assault. Otherwise it's a question of can you wait patiently for May -and then later for a sale- or not? I know that right now I have no desire to open my wallet for this, so patience it is.

So at the least, $90 USD to qualify for Top-Tier Clan Reward.
