The rewards are nice, but I really, really wish this event had a victory + kmdd as the condition required. When victories aren't a criteria for completing these event challenges, you see a lot more selfish gameplay.

Oh, and still waiting for some events that are based on actual Battletech lore instead of Halloween, St Patrick's Day, October fest or TV shows. I know this is an odd request, but I figure that since we're all Battletech fans playing a Battletech game... well, never mind.

well, the last event with a win condition was the victor, wasn't it? Oh no wait, there you had to stay alive, too, that was the problem for most people, not dying.

Ok, win is fine but I doubt it'll change anything about the gameplay. Have to say the KMDD is rather fine as condition, at least better than some complicated formula. Stll, get an umbrella for the next weeks.

Dunno, it requires a single KMDD per match. Shouldn't influence people too much.

Ironically plausible twist: solo kills don't count.

Beginning of every match, should just have Reds and Blues Lights, Mediums, Heavies, Assaults set up at different coordinates. Just to get what you need!

I'm actually liking how they set this one up.
In theory, folks should pop on, get their KMDD work out of the way quickly then move on to more "normal" game play... which would be SUCH a nice thing.

BUT, we'll see if that in fact is what occurs.....

You can get KMDD + solo kill for one kill.

A solo kill is awarded when you get both Killing Blow and KMDD on the same mech. One kill. What the heck are you trying to say?

I did got solo kill and a KMDD for the same kill. I don't know how it work exactly but i did get it.

Again, you are repeating exactly what I am saying. You can't get a solo kill without a KMDD. If you get awarded Killing Blow and KMDD on the same mech that is _how_ you get solo kill. That's how the game determines when to award the solo kill in addition to the killing blow and KMDD awards.

But i am not sure KMDD + killow blow on same target = solo kill all time
In most of cases yea but i guess not in all cases well if you have strongs sources give it to us..


One thing i am sure is that lots of people aren't aware you can get solo kill + KMDD rewards for same kill ... maybe they didn't get any one solo kill in theirs matchs.

You are right BUT I remember the frustration of needing to win ... and then getting 10 straight losses where I top scored but lost due to derp teams.

The ultimate frustration is not being able to complete Challenges because of a dysfunctional matchmaker.

The single weirdest thing about PGI is how they bought the Mechwarrior licence and then didn't use such a large part of it.

No, it's KMDD and Killing blow on the same mech. Always has been.

I mean i did got some solo kills before without the KMDD and well yea wasnt sure Solo kill and KMDD was totally linked you know it's PGI, if they were totally pro everybody would know it there..
Nice patch note from 2014 guess i was in break period but yea lots of people don't know this, for example all people who did install game after or without reading this patch note... isn't like game got a manual updated.

You look like a big mouth you still play this game ? Maybe with an alt account coze can check your big mouthlike stats or you just play forum warrior game which is really good maybe better than the FPS game i have to admit.

No we are not, I've never set my hands on the Table Top, nor did I ever got to read one of its novels, I came here lured by some friend who explained to me what the game was supposed to be like, and the ''tactical'' gameplay, and i honestly stayed because i like to shoot mechs XD

But yeah, it'll be nice to have those, maybe some of us could learn more about the lore.

I didn't mean literally everyone. Within the context of what we're discussing, it should be obvious that I don't think every single MWO player in the history of the game grew up playing TT or old Mechwarrior games.
