Theres a good number of quad mechs in the year range of 3050-3060, however the better designs come later. But! Quad mechs are still as very real a part of battletech as dog legged designs such as the Nova Cat.

Recently 'created' a few Scorpion variants and am working on making them in 3D. Not MWO quality, but suitable for the animations I'm planning.
o.o; Would love to see them in MWO.

It would look cool, sure, but MWO needs soooo much more important stuff added first..
Quadrupeds shouldn't be on the back burner, they should be on a back range..

I absolutely think they should be added. They are strong in the lore and would be a welcome addition to "freshen" things up a bit. As far as animation is concerned they would have zero problems throwing 4 legs into the art room. A lot of people buy mechs just from the "cool" factor alone, I am one of those people. The Supernova will prob not be great but man it looks cool so I bought it LOL.

Sadly ive heard the developer say he doesnt consider quad mechs to be mechs at all >.> so theres probably a bit of bias there

if it has legs it's a 'mech right? it's for sure not a car if it has 4 legs.
