When you buy a founders, and you want to upgrade, I know all you have to do is go onto the buy page and pay the difference.
My question is this; When the founders are not on sale anymore, can you still upgrade?

I would highly doubt it as it just doesnt fit into the what I understand the Founders program is all about.

I can't find the comment at this time, it's likely buried from a good while ago. If my memory is correct though, I think they said although they "might" shut down new founders packages prior to Aug 7th, that you'd be able to upgrade existing packages until Aug 7th, but not after.

Take that with a grain of salt though as I can't find the source right now.

Best advice would seem to be, better upgrade while you have the chance!

I was going to wait till after the 7th. But with that being the end of founders sale I just upgraded anyway. If the game play holds up it will be worth it.

I too thought elite was the best choice since I plan to stick to a single role for most of the game. but then thinking ahead I realised how important it is to have 3 additional mechs from each class with a unique 25% cbill boost which will never interfere with the others slots and.come handy if you ever don't like your elite mech role or for other game modes!
Its a huge perk. The additional $60 can come and go anytime but the legendary perks are a one off.
