I love the Customer Appreciation Event.

Currently I am qualified for certain rewards.

I am considering buying a little bit more so I can enjoy a bigger gift. But it makes sense to buy mechs that I actually want.

To qualify for the Top Tier Inner Sphere reward I need to buy 1 more mech package. I am considering the Warhammer, but it is not what I want. Would buying the Resistance 2 Mauler "A La Carte" qualify towards my Top Tier reward?

Not a la carte. You'd have to buy the entirety of Resistance II.

The Warhammer is fantastic, FWIW.

What sort of chassis do you typically do well in/enjoy running? We may be better able to give you some suggestions based on that (though Warhammer or Marauder, both different playstyles and options are both very solid choices)

If you have a 'single' mech package already bought with the Collector version, then why not consider another Inner Sphere 'Mech to that status in order to get the reward and save money?

If it helps I bought the Archer and the Cyclops to collector status.

My 2 cents:

Warhammer is probably the best all arround mech the IS has. Every variant is good, even the hero.

However, I do not think the ECM Stalker is going to be that great.

I'm not having a lot of success with my Warhammers. I guess I just I need to go Meta and add AC's. I just had this idea/vision of Warhammers with PPCs. But their arms are low and I'm a horrible shot with a PPC.

All in all, I wish I had bought the Cyclops instead. But then I tend to always make the wrong call, lol.

well, fortunately you have a fairly decent selection of single mech collector packs you can choose from... so it's not just warhammer or res II.

That said, I'm sure the forum would be happy to suggest based on your play preferences, needs, skill, etc.

I almost got resistance 2, for the 3 energy boats, and the mauler.. But sadly, money issues stopped me.. But if Colors, and extras are for you.. you get 12 mech bays, 1 or is it 2 months premium.. all those mechs get all 6 faction camo, AND you get 36 colors.. just the colors, bays, and other extras are worth the cost of the package.


But if it was me, and you already had one collector package,, It would be a no brainer if i only had 40 bucks to spend. Bushwacker!

Never buy a la crate, lol. What you need is two "collections" or one of the top tier packages. I got two collections.

For me the S version of the Marauder, Warhammer and Bushwacker are the least impressive variants so I chose to skip the top tier attempt. Had basic package + hero X2 qualified I would have additionally purchased the Cyclops+hero and reinforcements but sadly this isn't the case. As with trying to gift friends MC, PGI does not want more of my money.

Perhaps if you gave us an idea of you play-style and favorite mechs we might be of more assistance.
