And I tried tsing tao
No reason to think anyone drinks it outside of China to be honest
And I don't know how you've gotten to US beer
With German flag Atlas, name from Oktoberfest and that AA is hardly a US only thing
But on the beer side of things, it's certainly nothing to write home about

I love this event for the most part, as it is fun for casual players, and pretty easy to get your point, and gives you a reason to play every day, BUT the rewards are not that great, so if you miss something, it is not the end of the world.
I will note, that on my more DPS clan mechs, i am having a much harder time.. my hard hitting IS mechs, the event is cake. .. I just wish people would stop picking DOM, especially when they have zero clue how to play it. Even skirmish is better. (never thought i would say i actually look forward to skirmish)

If they were advertising for the beer industry, they've have gotten Molson's to sponsor the world championships.

But this is 2016 and you have to be offended by anything these days so I say you shouldn't talk that disrespectful of the roman legions and their cervisia.

Oktoberfest beer is stronger than you think! And especially plentyful when you drink it from a "Maß" (the liter glass). One traditional Maß of Oktoberfest beer has the same alcohol content as four 12-ounce American beers.

1. Oktoberfest is in September
2. Oktoberfest is from bavarian, its not a german thing
3. They should use the bavarian colours, not the german ones, not every german is a bavarian!!!
4. Bavarian is a little strange, they wear strange clothes, use strange language and do strange things and kneel down every sunday. Most people in germany dont understand or like the bavarians, they are a little like the american rednecks.
5. If you call it beer even if there is more then water, hop, yeast and malt in it, you should be nailed to a barrel.

Kids playing is fine, the event has nothing to do with drinking anyways. "Octoberfest" inspired headline image is the beginning and end of that.
As to "too long": most events are really short. I for one am glad that the occasional one is longer. If you don't enjoy that, that's fine - just consider that the really short ones exclude a LOT of people. It's good to have a wide range of event types.
