So desperate for new toys to mount but mcgral has a valid point. Sadly, nobody cares about balancing this game anymore it seems. Even that ED PTS hasn't moved in weeks (or is taken seriously by PGI... I mean if you want people to play it, just make some ads and bonus for it).

I hope that they don't destroy the entire kodiak chassis or entire weapon group(s) if they adjust the kdk-3. Which is surely at the top of the list.
Really like the idea of regular small balance tweaks...
Also super keen on new weapons....

They'd add much more variety and flavor to the game than any amount of "new" weapons

Here is my first imagination:
- Little red bolts of light fly out of the AMS unit to knock out missiles.
- Heat build up would be like that of using a flamer or repetitive small laser. It is an energy weapon so it should have heat associated with it.
- When power draw is in place this should also draw on the power.
- I also would hope for a better way to setup AMS turn off/on so that I can manage the heat and power draw that should be in place for such a weapon.
What do you think of energy based AMS?

as the years go forward i'd like to see some of he regained tech like xpulse, IS LBX/Ultra for other sizes and then into MRMs and arty's like the long tom. then you start getting into the mini fusion, different armors, others like mini ppc, heavy gauss etc.

They need to add the rest of IS Er lasers, streaks, lbx's, and uac, blazahs.
Then followed up by mrms, xpluses, lams, heavy lasers, etc.

I like the little red bolts! Functionally though, I was thinking of something a bit simpler, both for the player and devs sake. It would have similar performance to current ams but at a higher tonnage. It would sort of be it's own self contained system so no heat or energy draw and no ammo limitations. Not terribly different than current ams, just a different flavor
