Your thoughts on buying colours for lasers?

Of course, to prevent confusion between different laser classes each would be limited to a small spectrum (ie. Large Lasers limited to Yellows and Oranges; Medium Lasers to Reds and Pinks; Small Lasers to Blues and Greens), or the laserbeams itself can be of different sizes/brightness.
To increase differentiation maybe buying a colour should not be applied to all your laser-types, but just one specific weapon. For example, buying "pink" won't change all my medium lasers to pink but it will for just 1 medium laser that I've chosen.
Personally, I would like to be able to purchase colours for my lasers and make a Swayback that shoots rainbows. I shall name that Mech "NyanMech".

I would then like a 'colorblind mode' for the whole game, where for colorblind players the scheme is changed - including laser colors - to better suit their needs.
However, with that said, if the current laser combinations are still in when I get into beta you can bet I am making a Swayback with varying combinations of laser sizes in different places - and I am to make folks 'taste the rainbow'

Would you be willing to pay for it though?

That said, I don't think allowing that is a very good idea from a design standpoint. Range and armour management are extremely important in a MW game, and players should ideally be able to distinguish at a glance what sorts of weapons are firing at them.

Yeah, but I thought there was a potential market to etch out here. You and I know about markets, we have a business together selling Freebirth Gum and Vat Grown Bacon!
