Does AC2 have higher crit chance, MG-esque? If not, should it?

It does have a small crit boost, but it doesn't make a difference in the grand scheme of things.

The littlest dakka is still sad that PGI hasn't given it a cooldown module yet.

What the AC2 family really needs right now are lower heat: 0.7 heat at minimum, and its own cooldown module. It has been what, almost a year since Russ said he will look into AC2 CD module? I reminded him at least 7 times by now.

AC/2 are awesome on the BJ-1, and I do seem to crit things a little more with it.

Don't much care for them on anything else, though; too slow and too hot.

AC2 has higher crit chance to make up for the fact that other, bigger ACs can actually destroy equipments in one or two shots when they crit.

Well, DWF-UV arms would have 2 Ballistic hardpoints, couple that with two DWF-B Side torsi, boom 8 hardpoints, with 3 energy hardpoints with DWF-W HD and CT.

Try the 8 LRM 15 build with 16 tons of LRM ammo if you want to never run out. I'd love to run the Bane 4 configuration if they ever added ATMs.

Why not just drop the cooldown of the ac2 back to what it used to be?

Didn't it get increased for ghost heat purposes because it was triggering itself back when it used to be .5 instead of whatever it is now?
