Ghost Mechs, Why?

I just did a LOT of team damage because the mech I alpha'd 'died' before my srms and ac20 hit him; so instead of hitting my target, my shots went THROUGH the target and messed up the friendly mech behind him.

Ghost mechs are wack

They stop lasers, but not projectiles

That's not better at all. That's just weird... it means they thought about the possibility, but then were too lazy to fully implement the solution.

What's amusing is trees and such stop projectiles (ppcs especially) but not lasors.

Actually, they don't


They have the visual effect, but they travel through
At least, that was the official statement.

If you're talking about destructible terrain. The solid trees stop everything, like buildings or mountains.
