This thread has taken a weird, not fun turn. Can't we all just goof around and advocate for fun mechs?

Dude calm down I'm just talking like an adult and were explaining things to each other. (Rare to see on the forums I know, that's why it seems weird) neither one of us is mad.

Okay..

Yes, please release the Mk. II.

But honestly, its by Russ's whim that it gets released. He already knows its gonna be a cash cow. He also knows that it is reaching the power creep plateau which means it may be hard to sell assault mechs after that, especially Clan ones (maybe Blood Asp would be the only one).

I guess I also consider the chances of getting a Kingfisher or Turkina plummet when this mech gets released, but that could be wrong.

I don't think there are too many clan assaults left to sell without a jump? Could be wrong I haven't really checked. But Christmas and Black Friday type sales are what companies like to make big. So it would not be a good business practice to try and sale "filler" mechs instead of well sought after ones during this time.

Regardless if the Mad Cat MK II isn't this month or December's mech I'm dropping my support completely until features I want are being released. Not to be confused with worked on I mean released.

My level of support is owning every top tier mech pack. So far PGI has lost about $500+ from me. They have till December to reverse that. If dec rolls by and still no MK II then the only mech pack I'll buy is that one when it finally comes out. They will not receive any more support from me after that until single player. I already tried to be nice and avoided the talk with my wallet approach. Sadly it's the only effective one.

Heh... wellllllll there is the Kingfisher and Turkina.....

The Turkina is a staple CJF assault mech, it would be criminal to not include it.

The Kingfisher would have ECM and high hardpoints.

Either way, I want the Mk. II, but I want those too *shrugs*

MY support hinges on the Energy Draw fiasco.

Yeah I knew about the 30 point limitation push for a while. Russ always tweeted about it and boom ED pops up finally. I don't like ED, I think going back to 8v8 and changing damage values of weapons and armor in the CT would be far more effective fix to TTK and the gameplay feel. ED will not effect my playstyle because I've always operated in the 30 point alpha limit.

Uziel is an IS mech so maybe next month. Though I loved the uziel/belial in MechAssault1/2 it will translate poorly into MWO. I don't have high expectations in its performance.

Uziel requires new tech that the IS currently do not have.

UZL-3S: LB2-X in the RA + ER Lasers (Medium, Small)

UZL-8S: Streak 6 in CT

UZL-2S is good to go though

That's fine PGI has been making up variants for a long time now to avoid progressing the game. I expect all mechs to come into MWO and never getting any new tech. I do want new tech but I'm just voicing I have realistic expectations. I want the Fafnir but honestly it won't be the Fafnir without heavy gauss.

Ammo per ton still wrong
Machine Guns still crap
LRM's still useless
Gorilla arms
Maps aren't built to promote play styles
No collisions

I could go on all day

I have no issue with the Mad Kitty MKII being in MWO, but with that being said, I'm going to have to say no to it and try to keep it out of the game for as long as possible, sorry folks, it's just far to much fun watching Imperius throw him self on the ground and roll around the floor and wailing and nashing his teeth about this.

Yeah... This is how I get my jollies.

Fafnir is definitely in my top 3 for assault. But dynamic geometry would probably make it look silly, like even bigger gauss nipples using heavy gauss.

Refusing to launch the Mad Cat Mk II isn't profitable. You should know that. MW:O is an untapped market for Diamond Shark mechs, and that can't stand.

Perhaps, but our tests have shown that our viewers do enjoy the "man child show" and losing one of it's star members dramaticly impacts the ratings in a very negative way by a loss of 35%.
This really hurts our Diamond Shark advertising with such a loss of viewer-ship.

We all know you're not going to support a damn thing, Imperius. You'll splurge on your Bad Hat Muck Too, then go immediately back to bittervettery with the rest of these yaks.

I don't even really blame people for it anymore. But don't lie to folks, man.

God I am sick unto death of hearing about this garbage machine. especially given that once again, the majority of its variants will be fairy-tale reduxes with no practicality or purpose given that the 'Mech is normally heavily augmented with the FutureTech Piranha's decided we're never getting.

Geh. Just get it the hell over with so we don't ever have to hear about the Sad Bat Mocks You ever again already, please.

Imperius is actually going to buy MadcatMKII.

The irony is that he'll get tired of the game soon after acquiring it.

And this is why I don't care anymore. Games are made for entertainment, not for pulling your hair out over the idea of a perfect game.

You want your perfect game? go play the older MechWarriors where you first believed it was fun and a good or even perfect game.

You act like I started this thread? How can you confidently assume I'm lying about spending my money? Where did I say I was going to become a white knight? I'll still be a bittervet that is just less bitter. The things I expect out of MWO can not be realistically delivered by dec. MK II is like PGI throwing me a bone to tie me over till campaign and hopefully a new engine.

Yes and most likely yes, but you know better than anyone here that I buy **** I don't even use. Even if I'm not playing I'll be buying top tier mech packs again.

You want to try and make this go off-topic? Nah I'll pass. I'm not buying any mechs until the MK II. As for lights good luck convincing people to pay $70 for a bunch of DOA mechs. I think the only true upgraded light is a Locust IIC. At least that's what people have said. I personally do not care I do not play lights often. Sadly the general population of MWO does not play them correctly.
