I say again space these damn events out more it's getting daft now...Well more daft than normal.
How on earth can you complain that there's too many events? They're giving away free stuff to those who can play them. You don't have to play them. You can choose to miss out. By asking them to spread them out... it sounds like you're saying, "I can't play this often, and so since I can't claim the free stuff, I don't want anyone else to either."
Seriously, constant events is a good thing. How can you possibly argue that it's not?

Just couldn't be bothered to READ what the prizes were in the event details before leaping to a conclusion to post a complaint about it, could you ? Second prize on the list. As to caches/keys...hunt the huntsman event runs until November 1st for everyone and the first two prize levels are caches and then keys. You have 14 days to accomplish up to 10 points for killing blows or KMDDs against huntsman variants, to earn 100MC, 4 million cbills, 8xC-bills consumables pack, 4 keys and 4 caches.
I directly quoted the anouncment page for the trick or treat event. And i only set this event in proportion to events that are in the past of the same kind with loot bags.
Essentially PGI mixed a regular mech introduction event together with the halloween trick or treat event and let it go over "two" weeks. So the rewards of the huntsman "haunted and hunted" event stands for itself and I do not include it in the second week trick or treat event.

If it is anything like my group, we got our one KMDD, or kill, and changed mechs. The huntsman were usually the first mechs to get focused, so it made sense to get what you needed, and move to a different mech. As the night went on, I saw less and less of them.

Yeah, we'll all need a cool, non-alcoholic drink after going to Terra Therma.

That's only good luck if people actually think to use TeamWork, and not let teammates die. Otherwise you're just gonna get dead.
Frankly, the way I see people behaving now, there's gonna be a lot of folks who are angry at PGI and the Event setup. The only way to correct that is to lower the requirements for the rewards on 'Killing a Huntsman' to half of what they are now. Pilots of those new Mechs are NOT keeping them on the field as long as they were in previous Events, causing major problems with PGI's model for the Event. Hell, I'm being thrown to the fire like a sacrificial lamb by people who apparently don't believe in working with everyone on their team, even when I'm not using lame things like LRM weapons.

Heck, I would even prefer only 1,000 each time than having to go sell all those Trick items.
OTOH I love the fact Mech Bays are back as a possible prize!

So you'd rather less c-bills (flamer sells for 7500, SHS for 2000, Small laser for 11250 and MG for 5000) than take 10 seconds to sell the weapons. You do know one of the patch improvements was to speed up the time spent when you sell items. It took me 1 second after confirming the sale of 9 SHS for the transaction to complete.

I'm pretty sure the change wasn't because of me. They must have analyzed their logs and statistical data, and simply confirmed the problem which I potentially pointed out. My congratulations to PGI on being quick about catching the issue, however.

(p.s.: Please also look for a couple of Bug Reports over in Patch Feedback? I found some nasty interface and control problems!)

Aside from that, this event looks fun. It has something for everyone. Even those who refuse to try Nova Therma (New TT) can still get the MC reward, and including both a Huntsman Leaderboard and a Hunt-the-Huntsman event is a great idea.
Its in the store you can try it before you buy. Its awesome and the only horn i would pay for.

Quite the opposite I play regularly usually about an hour a night. And every time an event is on especially at the weekend you just get solo Rambo's determined to stick to their own agenda and not play as part of a team. 8/10 times the team splits up and people go in search of damage figures which is usually the staple of these events but not team play.

Yes why evey hour now? I mean for the last 2-3 events it's a full hour, previously those 2-3 events it was 30 minutes and before the 30 minutes it was 10. I think 20 minutes would be perfect.
I tweeted Russ about that but never got a reply.
