I'm not sure where the extra 20 comes from (I don't see a bonus for getting the max of 120).

Honestly, this issue should have never happened... if PGI actually built a mech-warrior game that encouraged any kind of team play, at all. You know, something with goals that encourages people to work together. Instead, literally all we have is two forms of team deathmatches.

I haven't noticed much of a difference in teamwork though. There have always been a not-so-small group of players that hop in simply to smash up robots, and have little desire to contribute to the team. I still find that 95% of the time, if someone hops on comms and leads the team, the majority of the team will follow. I had an awesome match yesterday, on HPG domination, where a dude had a wacky idea to simply camp out the lower level... to sit in the corner and simply wait for the enemy to come in and blast them away. It worked perfectly, while it was a slow match to start, I had a bucketload of fun in the end.

Also, note that the enemy team has just the same proportion of players who are not working as a team. So while you might feel there's less group cohesion, at least it's the same on both sides and therefore not unfair. Actually, since 'teamwork' is "OP" what leads to stomp matches, shouldn't less teamwork mean more fair and balanced matches? ^^

Quick question about the events thing, i have qualifed for a couple of the prizes now can i claim them now or will they show @ end of event i'm a tier 4 baby jaguar :)

I suspect many of them will be delayed until the end of the Event. The exception might be the Loot Bags, which appear to be possible to be opened just as soon as you reach the requirements for them. Have you tried logging out, and then logging back in? :huh:

While I appreciate the freebies, I'm not too keen on the most confusing event page. I didn't quite like having to read the different events and figure out which happens now and which I missed.
A worse solution is to have multiple event pages .... so honestly, I'm not sure what is the best solution Posted Image . Oh well, freebies are freebies! Posted Image *shrug*

I've been playing my HMN set a lot as it's a really fun mech to play. The event is kind of a side benefit because yeah, it keeps you from taking big risks but on the other hand the psych effect it has on the enemy team when they spot you is such prime bait. It's like, you can single handedly win a match by luring 2-4 mechs out of position while alerting your team that they're headed to a sector and boom. Works even better if you are packing a radar dep module and an arm mounted TAG for the trap.

I will admit though, the free Hellbringer has been a lot of fun to swap in. Thanks again for all the events, PGI.

? didn't the "Hunt The Huntsman Challenge Rewards" have a 4th tier at 8 points with a 100MC reward ? doesn't appear anymore in the tournament page.

@Saobh: The reward structure was edited... 100 MC is now part of 3rd tier at 6 points.

there doesn't seem to be information on when various rewards will be injected? (such as mc, supply, etc.) Is it lump at some time, or as you get them, or?

@Jingseng: That info appears to be missing... I already qualified for 3 days premium time, but it did not activate so it is either granted at the end of event or bugged... I think we need to hear from the moderators on this one...

Thanks for the events PGI, though lumping things together like this is kind of confusing to keep track of. One thing does bother me though. Do we have to wait till November the first to get the Halloween cockpit item? It kind of defeats the point of having a Halloween decoration after Halloween. I guess I could still use it and binge watch A Nightmare Before Christmas while I play and just mix the next few holidays together.

Quick question, if you score 80 pt match twice in one day in Terra Therma does it count for two "points" on the Terra Therma Redux Challenge or can you earn only one "point" per day?

One point per day on the terra therma one. The grammar of the event goals is badly written. They also left out the sentence about reward injections occuring at the end of the event altogether (which was included in the mechtoberfest event...though many still failed to read it).

There are only two confusing things about the event page. First, they left off the injection schedule, but we can be fairly confident by now that it isn't 'upon earning.' Second, and this is only confusing because I'm not in that situation, but what happens to past days where you didn't put a checkmark in any of the boxes...does it remain unlocked? If so, can it be filled on a now-current day or do you get an X in it? Either way, there are way more than enough days to complete all the tasks so nobody should worry if they miss a day or two. Or in some cases, eight.

Everything else is self-explanatory. One task per checkbox grid per day. Days remain locked until the date indicated is the current game day. Heck, they even highlight the current game day in orange, and with the exception of the loot bag grid, every day is aligned along the same vertical axis, making it extremely easy to see if you still have things to do on a given day.

A third thing isn't really confusing per se but does make me curious...will we continue to get checkmarks in the days after we finish the tasks for the event? I suppose It'd be cool to have a 'mission completed' translucent overlay on the checkbox grid when there's nothing left to earn. Maybe something flanked by mech-skulls or something.

Edit: Would've also been cool if you got a bonus for hunting the Huntsman while in a Huntsman.

Hi guys, please help me out on this! Do we need to kill/kmdd 6 hunts mans? why there are 14 padlocks to open? Do we get more points if we kill/kmdd more than 6 huntsmans? THX

Its actually same case whith all other components of event!!!

Please PGI don't make anymore such an event that ONE kind of a mech get focused, because it destroys the game, almost 95% of the team goes after that mech and forget about team play!!!

It's quite simple. You can achieve max one point per day, either with a KMDD or kill. That's what the padlocks are for - when we reach that day, the padlock will open, and you can achieve your single point for that day.

And no, it's quite clear in that you get the final reward at six points. It means you don't have to go crazy hunting the huntsmen... you only have to have it happen once per day for 6 out of the 14 days.

It does not remain unlocked... You get stuck with an "X" that makes note of your failure. PGI did not set things up so you could recover lost days after completing the current one. :(

Yes, you need a mix of six Kills/KMDDs on Huntsman Mechs to earn all the prizes for that section. There are 14, in order to provide enough chances in case of not being able to get a Kill/KMDD on a Huntsman on a given day. Getting more will not award you anything extra beyond the sense that you were able to do better than what many will even have the chance to earn/manage/achieve. Then again, these Huntsman Kills/KMDDs are meant to be shared around in order to give everyone the chance, as a Huntsman's death can provide earnings to two opponents. ;)
