Yes, you need a mix of six Kills/KMDDs on Huntsman Mechs to earn all the prizes for that section. There are 14, in order to provide enough chances in case of not being able to get a Kill/KMDD on a Huntsman on a given day. Getting more will not award you anything extra beyond the sense that you were able to do better than what many will even have the chance to earn/manage/achieve. Then again, these Huntsman Kills/KMDDs are meant to be shared around in order to give everyone the chance, as a Huntsman's death can provide earnings to two opponents.

And no, it's quite clear in that you get the final reward at six points. It means you don't have to go crazy hunting the huntsmen... you only have to have it happen once per day for 6 out of the 14 days.

Hmm. For me it seems like i always get the X. Two days in a row, i managed to get a good score on the new map, i still have the X. For the other parts, i got no unlock on the first day, didn't have enough time for them tonight due to server shutdown.

Are there really only 25 people who have competed in the huntsman challenge? That can't be... yet I only see 25 combined names on the leader-board event...

I had this problem... Logged out and then back in and that fixed it. Check marks for the first 2 days instead of Xs.

What do you consider to be a "Good" Match Score? They are requiring at least "80" Match Score to have it count. If you wish to see that Score at the end of a Round, look at the "Team Stats" tab of the post-battle info. Then go down to your name, and across to the "Match Score" column. If that number isn't reading at least "80", then you have something to work on. If it does read at least "81", however, then you may have to post back here asking for PGI's assistance.

For those saying Faction Play isn't going to be affected... well. You couldn't be more wrong. I went from playing an upwards of 30 games a day.. to 5.. 10 at the most because of the Event. Everyone is leveling a huntsman and/or farming Terra for the event. So, the 30 day PT i bought 2 weeks ago.. half is going to waste. Cool event... Too bad it's causing a game play shift. If i could lock/freeze my premium time, then i'd have nothing to complain about lol

I'm sure this will get attacked because i'm not a heavy spender and dont have 9283 years of PT or a bajillion MC saved up.

So i was wondering why i havent recieved the initial 2 day rewards of 4 supply caches and 50MC yet, since i havent read anywhere about being only injected after the event was over... Then i went to the event page and saw this mess...

Thanks for screenshot of that Der Kopfsammler, saved me some time. Bizarre bug and I ask PGI to look into their Tournament page as when we progress more its invalidating previous prizes achieved. :/

I'm sure you're not going to be attacked. Personally, I would like to know if anyone has been getting the new "Terra Therma" as a Scouting Map for Faction Warfare. In my opinion, it would make one heck of an interesting addition.

Huh, I hadn't even considered that but you're right.
Most of the items I don't really care about waiting until the end.. but yeah, it would be nice to release the Halloween themed warhorn, ya know, once you earn it in time to use it. Ah well...

I don't see the point in having multiple variant groupings for the Huntsman.

It's an Omni mech and people will swap pods and have the same build on which ever variant they chose to drop.

It was between 200 and 350 every time i checked. Anyway, today it now looks fine. It seems like it had a problem updating, no idea what it was.

Even though they didn't give the chance to make up days, I do feel they partially addressed this. They set most of the regular goals so they can be completed in 6 days. Huntsman and Terra therma goals are both this way. The huntsman chassis and daily score goals can be completed in 10 days. The event runs 14 days. So there is a bit of leeway there. I know it is not exactly being able to make up days, but you can miss a couple.

I have verified that you can get a point for the kill without the kmdd. I popped a cherry red huntsman with no kmdd and got the point for yesterday.
