Yes, it was really bad.
All in the space of 30 seconds, my death told itself.
I was just casually scouting, gathering information, Until I forget how to MechWarrior...

I have had worse moments. Mine was just dropped in a match at Grimm with my Shadow Cat thinking it would be nice to hope the wall and be in the center quicker. From there I can hopefully find the enemy and get in a better spot for my team than waiting on them.

Sadly though I didn't check the mini map and when I hopped the wall it was the boundary wall which dropped off on the other side. So with in 30 seconds I suicide'd unintentionally Posted Image I felt so ashamed.

I bit surprised to see a T1 with the huge white arrow on the ground. Posted Image

Don't worry, I did worse, was also scouting and bang! not even time to do any damage.

If you've never had a 0 damage derp, then your worst game is yet to come.

When I saw your video was on Mining and the location where you started, I thought you might be the guy I killed this morning before work, but no...

That guy was in an Oxide and went alone to the boxes just below and to the left where you initially jumped. I was in an Arctic Cheetah and jumped toward him and landed an alpha less than 20 seconds in. He never saw me as I landed on one of the boxes above him so I alpha'd him again. He backed up behind the next box, still looking around down low and not seeing me, so I jumped over and alpha'd him again.

He was at least turning while I was shooting and spreading some damage so I hadn't killed him yet. He finally caught on, looked up and saw me and was so shocked he must have flinched and he fired his alpha wide to my right from less than 80m away. He started to back up and I alpha'd him one last time, killing him. He fired one shot, did zero damage, and died less than 45 seconds in.

Now THAT guy had a bad match. I felt pretty bad for him. No idea who he was.

And I've had my share of potato moments, too. No doubt. You will have a zero damage match - we all have...

Had that recently... in a kodiak. Actually we had two kodiaks in group queue and everyone was nascar like crazy. I was left behind and stopped because of... a feeling? And I saw the seismic blip, shortly before my back was open. I tried to turn around and saw the locust running by and after another alpha I was dead. Two-shotted by a locust. Zero damage. In the most OP mech this game has. Yeah, what a day...

Pretty sure Locusts don't carry enough firepower to two shot a Kodiak, unless he caused a CT ammo explosion or something.

We're talking 6x small pulse usually which is 24 damage per attack. A Kodiak has 62 plus 15 from quirks internal structure, more than enough to soak two volleys even ignoring your rear armor.

Ok, another war story...

Short version is me and 2 buddies were in group queue all running the same 6 SPL cheetah build on Canyon. This was a couple of months ago.

We're playing a group that includes several players we know (and are generally friends with). On the drop we immediately work our way behind the enemy without being seen and find an isolated Timber Wolf. Our comms:

Me: Oh s***, look! It's (name withheld)!!!

Friend 1: God I hope he's not running seismic

Friend 2: Be vewwy qwiet - we're hunting wabbits!

(we all sneak up within 150m of him while he's sniping someone across the map - he remains oblivious)

Friend 1: Ok, on 3. 1...2...3! (3 full alpha's into his back - 108 dmg to the rear)

He dies instantly - zero warning. Merciless taunting in all chat ensues.

Edited to add: Bonus points - we're pretty sure he was streaming at the time.

Those seismic modules are worth more a lot more than 6 Million c-bills, friends. They're worth your fragile, fragile pride.

The other day I was NASCAR'd a minute or so in by a Locust and an Arctic Cheetah while I was in an Adder I'm leveling, also on Mining. Took a full alpha to the back, spun and fought the Locust for a few seconds then the Cheetah started smacking me around too and I died with only 46 damage done. Had three bad games in a row (that was the worst, but all three were terrible), turned the game off. Next day the first game I took the same Adder, got Mining again, and this time did over 600 points damage. *shrug*

(PS Totally agree about seismic, I was running Radar Derp instead since I haven't got Master to run both on that variant.)

It's aight. We've all made that one corner turn that we all regret.

One Alpine match, I saw an ACH running up a hill with a blind turn using my EBJ. At the time, 5 enemies left. We had just shattered the main front. I was feeling confident that there were only stragglers left. So even though an internal warning sounded off, "don't chase the ACH." I merrily ignored it and chased the ACH... into 2 assaults and 2 heavies.

I was the last one dead on my team for that match. I literally went from 95% to 0 in an instant.

Of course, there are countless other stories, including deciding to brave blind corners on TMC that ended my light's short involvement at like 30 seconds in. Point is... things happen, but good video editing is forever. Kudos!

Could be worse. Here's what happens when you try to flank a Warhammer in an Urbanmech, apparently.

At least you got shot more then once.
