There are other memorys and nostalgia being tickled
At fairer prices I might add
Sooo
Yawn about another assault
Maybe I'll pick it up for C-Bills and if I like it add the most useful version, the hero

I tend to pilot IS mechs generally so I'll wait for cbills despite MW3 nostalgia.

One of only TWO mechs that would get me to open my wallet again, and you release it! CURSE YOU VILLAINS!
I will be buying this one. I have to. She's my baby from TT. A pity Ghost Heat means I can't fire all 6 LL in a turn, but thems the breaks.
Anyways, after this, my wallet is closed again..... unless you RELEASE THE KRAKEN!

Especially if that Weapon is the Arrow IV. I can't wait to see people Noob-Tubing themselves at point blank range against enemies, building, walls, cliffs, etc.

This, no chance, none what so ever.
Why not a Warhammer IIc, appears the way they choose the mechs they release is the same dart board they use for balance decisions.

Does Arrow IV do splash damage? That would be great fun, launching a single big missile at a time with splash damage into a ball of mechs.

It's like a smaller Long Tom. Problem is, it takes up too many Crit Slots, and we don't have Crit Splitting.
My suggestion for implementing it was to have the Arrow IV launcher as a Missile Component, and then have an Arrow IV Targeting Computer as an Equipment Component. And then you just need one Computer per Launcher.
Edit: I think it was 15 Damage instead of 20, and the AoE was only 90m, instead of the MAXIMUM DERP of the current Long Tom. But still, 15 damage to every component of every mech in a 45m Radius from the Impact point is pretty scary.
Sure, it'll probably fly at half the speed of LRMs, be able to be shot down by AMS, have a 20 second Reload Time, a Minimum Range of 500m, and it will have to be locked to be fired.....
But I'd still run one of a CLPT-C3.

Smaller Long Tom sounds like great fun!
So not likely to see it? That's a shame.

Man, it's going to get weird for some people if the Marauder II gets released. And then double weird if they release the Marauder II C.

Personally, an energy assault is unattractive to me. I barely use my KDK-1 as it is. And it's slow. And it's an omni with entirely redundant pods.

Its not an omnimech.
But yeah, it has a lot of redundancy between models.
I guess it lets you fine tune just how many lasers eat the dirt.
