I'd love to have heard the pitch about creating a map with limited flanking avenue, long sniperavenues, low approach paths are lava flows to dissuade flankers and limited LRM cover. I mean if they ever wanted to make a map to get brawlers to quit rather than play, they have come up with the formula for that map.

At least it is pretty dark so long range snipers have hard time getting accurate shots, compared to Alpine, or Canyon.

I've went back to a LRM mech until that fecking map can get dowvoted by the PUG hive. Right now every idiot is voting for the map OR PGI has bumped votes up for that map to force people to play it to get data. Most players dislike it and compare it to Forest remap.

TBF, there is an event reward based on playing the map. I vote for the map at least once a day.

I just want to hear the concept behind building a base inside a volcano. Structures are literally inches away from or placed on lava flows. The moon is in the orbit of a Saturn-like gas giant, is a rocky roughly earth-sized body and is volcanicly active either through it's own astronomical distance from it's star or gravitational friction from the gas giant...though it seems awfully far away from the gas giant for gravity to cause that much stress.
Solar radiation belts would be quite nasty, though mechs should have plenty of shielding for their electronics. I'm not sure why anyone would want a base on this moon other than the video game logic of it being a neat place to fight.
