after a days battles thumbing through the skill tree to see if any of the mechs im leveling (all 20 of them) have any upgrades coming to them, i notice that it is ridiculously slow whenever there is a transition to a new mech. its making my little end of day ritual rather tedious.

it's faster than ever actually, you only need the other 2 chassis to be basicd so that you can master the main chassis you like

It's a tree, and trees tend to move slowly.

Well, i don't think that he actually means the levelling of the Mechs itself, but the selection of the different Mechs in the skill tree. I have experienced the same, that there are now longer loading times if you switch/select a new Mech.

As I said, no such issue here. I selected bunch of mechs under the skill tree in the past three hours.

Still need three with Basic to get Elites, but only need two in Elite to get Mastery.

My Stalkers only finally flipped to Elite ince only now did I get a third variant to put Basic on.

Nope ... you do not need two variants elite to get mastery. You need two mechs in that WEIGHT CLASS at elite ... can be completely different mechs. If you have mastered any other mech in that weight class then once you have three variants at basic you can master that chassis.

So it is only the first mech that you master in a specific weight class where you need to elite two variants.

The Mechlab UI seems to have to check with the server for every single click, so if you have mountain internet (Like me), or otherwise not great service, it can be a colossal pain to get through it.

It's not a game that benefits from an SSD all that much.

Probably implemented by PGI so you don't squander your precious XP/GXP so fast.

Kinda functions like ATM daily withdrawal limits and such.

I've noticed the switching between, the full mech skills chart and the single one a lot slower than before the patch, this was something that P.G.I 'fixed' I figured it was due to me having over 300 mechs and just my imagination, but it's nice to have it confirmed.

He doesn't mean the grind he means the speed at which the UI swaps windows.

Has the skill tree been changed recently? There was nothing about it in the last patch notes.

CB and XP rewards were nerfed, when Rewards 2.0 system was implemented, because, you know...Premium Time sales were way too low. Yeah, with Rewards 2.0 your rewards can actually be higher, than old ones, but at the same time your old average rewards are on the par with new Premium ones.

I just wish they'd drop the confirmation dialog when spending regular XP. So many clicks!
