So The Huntsman Leaderboard Is A Completely Useless Thing To Do..

but the community will try to use the numbers from the event to prove the huntsmans worth.. Too bad all the data is now effectively useless because its far from impartial results. If the numbers coming out from the event say it sucks well at least theres really good excuse.. shame is that if it sucks is it becuase of the event or is it becuse it sucks.. too hard to say when u cant play your game like everyone else when your too busy trying to not get notcied and focused down by the entire team..
But it is safe to say that we wont see anywhere near the true potential of the huntsman in this event.. And really it should be ignored for all future reference comparisons.. better yet just erase all the event numbers when its done and bury this abomination..

If you're a casual player, you honestly don't stand to benefit from the leaderboard in the first place.
The best will still rise to the top. The rest... well, get good?

I say be noticed, be the bait, and use that with your team to win.

I keep getting in matches where the enemy has a bunch of Huntsmen while my team has, maybe, one. I don't necessarily focus them down, though, it's just whatever target presents itself as a priority based on threat level.
There are also a lot of Cyclopes on the prowl.

So soon after it coming out was especially twisted.
It's almost as if they wanted to punish people for buying their stuff.

Punish? Why?
PGi had a good idea. They new the game would be inundated with Huntmen this week. So they made an event that would take advantage of that. The best part is any one can do it, it's not a challenge were you need the mech to get the rewards.

I'd kill to be in your shoes. It took me two hours to get a kill (or KMDD) on an enemy huntsman, because the enemy team would only have one or two of them. Piloting a Huntsman, myself, I was not going to stick my neck out any farther than I needed to to get that checked off the list, either.

I've been revisiting my old Blackjacks in addition to levelling Loyalty 'Mechs, so I can relate to the squish-factor. Have to tread lightly in that BJ-1DC, it's made of paper.
On the other hand, many enemies have fallen prey to the Standard Engine bait on my BJ-1X, thinking they have a kill....huehuehuehuehue.
