Game is getting stale, yes.

Or both.
I don't mind getting both.
Other than that, a working collision system with knockdowns and a simple melee system would be nice.
I'd also like customizable alternate geometry, like different atlas skulls, round chin-turret on the Wolverine, different hand-designs for mechs, etc.

A refresh of almost every map that makes each one virtually a new one.
Events where the goals are sufficiently incentivizing, and varied.
I don't play FP as it takes too long both in waiting and the actual playing.
So all I need is SOLARIS.
and I mean real SOLARIS. 1 vs ALL. Skirmish is not SOLARIS.
Now that FP is going to be nothing more than another "variant" of QP.
I would really like SOLARIS please.
(Don't care for PvE)

The problem with collisions however s a tough one. Whilst they would be nice, the current spawns and engagement styles, coupled with many players poor mech handling, would lead to many teams taking over five minutes to clear the spawn.
And then we have the Dragon Bowling legacy, when Russ was kept on his back for an entire match by a pair of Dragons who kept bumrushing him.
Yes, they would be really fun, but there are reasons why we do not have knockdowns.
Now, AI units, destructible terrain, Thumper and Long Tom mounts, Archer artillery missiles and quads would all be extremely fun.

I think the problem with collisions was they just made it too easy to knock down another mech. Collisions instead should have caused damage with maybe a small critical chance of a knockdown occuring. I mean if you think about it, two football players smashing into each other on the line of scrimmage just collide and push at each other most often and lets be honest, mechs aren't articulate enough in this game to "tackle".
As far as the rest, yes I would love to see AI with maybe randomly scattered infantry in bunker firing MGs, SRMs and Inferno missles at mechs making you have to take time to clear them out or risked getting pecked to death. Also this would be a good way to add in tanks and other vehicles. I would also like to see actual missions and random events during a match, like an objective that randomly show up on the map and both teams have to take that objective no matter where it is, something like that.
As for as Long Toms and such, I vote no. The reason is that these weapons tend to be One Shot Kill weapons and if there is anything my years with WoT taught me is that having Artillery one shot you from the other side of the map is not fun.

I detect similarities between this post and the location info in your profile.

No, no. Just add the Catapult's lost structure and ear armor buffs to this. Please!

wouldn't mind if torso/leg turrets were a thing. same benefit as an arm hardpoint with or without a la actuator. leg and ct turrets would only be 1 slot, and support only a single one slot weapon. st turrets would take multiple slots, and can use the remaining slots for weapons.
it would probibly be fixed equip on battlemechs because its part of the chassis. with omnimechs it comes with certain omnipods, and might be optional like arm actuators. if it is removable equipment, id probibly use multiple classes. classes defined as:
class 4: hip elevation actuator (leg use only), vertical only, 0t, 1 slot, medium arc
class 3: light weapon turret (leg and ct use only), vertical+horizontal, 0.5t, 1slot, wide arc
class 2: std weapons turret (st use only), vertical+horizontal, 1.5 ton, 6 slots, medium arc
class 1: heavy weapons turret (st use only), vertical+horizontal, 3 ton, 2 slots, narrow arc
for clan omnis, subtract 0.5 tons.
heavy weapons turret is used when you want to equip ac10,20, or gauss on an is mech. clan mechs would have similar restrictions, so slot usage would be adjusted accordingly.
its not ogbt, unless you count the artwork as lore. but it would make builds interesting.
also while were adding things to do to the mech lab, can we get some new guns?

I'd like that feature
(Big things coming in the November patch, apparently. Will I be impressed, or disappointed?)

I feel like it's going to be something closer to "aggressive balance changes" than anything else. That Dartboard needs more facetime after all.

(keep it simple stupid) PGI
Variable ambient temperature. No reason why my maps like H.P.G. Mining and Forest can't go from cold to hot.

i wonder why that blast furnace on the new terra therma doesnt cause a huge heat spike. i mean there are half a dozen areas in that place that look like they should be hotspots like the crater in caustic. if we get space maps it would also be cool to be able to stand in pools of liquid methane which would cool off more than standing in water.

Fixing lurms would lure me back to playing more in spite of everything else. How long must I wait for a small simple stat tweak?
