I wish they had an in game system set up where we could bet C-Bills on the outcome like in Solaris.

Not trying to sound harsh, but as things stand now, i would be positively surprised if 228th takes a single drop against anyone. But on the other hand i guess it's fair to say 228th BW played out of their minds and surprised most people with their performance in NA. So maybe, just maybe their OC fellows can cause a little upset aswell. I'm not really counting on it though.

Between EON and EmP, i can see EON steal a drop or two, but i don't see them winning against EmP over a whole set of drops. EmP rolled through this so far, only giving up a single drop to SJR for the whole tournament iirc (which was a pretty close one aswell). Anything but them winning it would be a huge upset.

I like EON, they have ton of talent. EMP is simply the best team on the planet right now, and has "sharpened" considerably in recent times. I think EON has a chance to pull off a drop, maybe, but my guess would be EMP in a runaway. I also really enjoy the 228th guys, but feel like they are overmatched here, but wish them all the luck in the world, good strats and playing to top form could make this tighter than I am predicting. I would LOVE to be wrong and have all of this come down to the wire, I suspect very much that the computers they play on and the peripherals each use, will be a factor (even though they loosened the restrictions considerably)

I would like nothing more than a series of 8-7 matches across the board, and will be cheering for such (with a beer in my hand of course)

<S> to all teams and players

Cheers!

Once the wallhacks and aimbots are turned off, all bets are off.

Every match has been played on the heavily monitored tournament client, there are no wallhacks, aimbots or other cheats being used.

Emp will win this for sure, it would take a truly bizarre turn of events to see them lose at this point.

Dont think so. I would bet for EON. But it would be an extremely hard for both.
All the teams have their advantages and week points. Depends on them if they can use it for taking victory.

So in short the finals will be a contest of only 3 teams? That's not very fun. It's pretty obvious that at this stage in the game Emp will cruise to the win. If this tourney were held in year 2 of this game, maybe things would have turned out a little different. Many top teams lost interest and don't have the activity they once did.

I can vouche for a lot of the skill in EON. They certainly have the talent. But I think EMP will take this on strategy and decision making.

As I said, Emp would win it and did 3 wins, no losses.

EON played them way closer than I had initially suspected. They probably belong with SJR and Black Watch in the "almost" tier. I was impressed. Not getting just blown off the map against a well-prepped EmP is an achievement.
