I like the warhorn (mostly run the unseen phoenix horns), honestly it just confirms easily if I got the kill in a messy focus down brawl.

However, I really believe it should be heard inside MY cockpit, not by other pilots. I just don't imagine that:

• You would really have a pilot strapping giant loud speakers to the side of their mech to play an "I got you" jingle
  
• Being inside an atmospherically sealed cockpit with a massiver raging battle going on would permit you to even hear said jingle (sorta goes for the nature sounds on some maps too, btw)

The most of the horn sounds are just bu###t like the pkoenix, kickers, sonic boom and so on ...the jade falcon and wolf horns are simply horrible bad and anoying .... Should be an option for all other players to turn it off, that only the mech whos equpped with,can hear it. The most are simply uninspired bad.

The newest phoenix horn sounds better than the Jade Falcon horn and that's the only one that I don't have.

But yeah, most warhorns are just terrible and if I could, I would turn them off.

I use the pumpkin warhorn just for annoying other people.

All I have to say about warhorns is that they can only improve from here lol

The laughing warhorn I have heard once and it was on a team mate. Its for sure a trollhorn. What ever, this kind of thing is no big deal.

I do look forward to good looking warhorns being added to the game though and maybe ability to hide the annoying ones but still hear the sound.

Is there a bag pipe warhorn yet? If not, why not? There are a few great warhorns that havnt been added yet. Some of the LOTR horns would be great. Add them as third consumable to be used in a charge or rally!

It would be cool if you could submit your own war horns to be approved but I have a feeling that would take away too much from the development of MWO.

The whole point of the warhorns is to give you a secondary kick to the groin after getting killed. They are worthless if the victim does not hear them.

And in that vein I request that PGI bring back their original audible range, or better yet even increase it.
