The Magic Jesus Field is the same 25% sensor range, but at least there's a larger than 20M buffer where you can target shrouded mechs (now that the bubble is 90M)
It could have stayed 180M, had they fixed the Magic Jesus Field (=50%, instead of 25%)

You can't hit what you can't see, and your "team" can't swarm what's not on the sensor net.

Now, ...I prefer 1 extra ton, instead of ecm; go figure...

If you are a lrm boat, you deserve all ECM mechs on the enemy team until you grow a pair of brezts/ballz and go direct fire.

Lock delay, or Dorito Delay?
Later is good too, my suggestion (a simple number change) would allow you to see Dorito's from 400M (800*.5) instead of the current 200 (800*.25)
Variable, due to sensor range differences
It also allows a larger coverage (back to 180), while being slightly more fair to LRMs (ie, Dorito's before min range)

That works too. As long as LRMs become less feast or famine because of ECM.

LRM boats I see in PUG drops do mostly just fine, and they carry their own TAG and gets lots of kills. As for ECM, I call em out to team and (sometimes) we hammer them first and problem solved. Then again sometimes we send a scout over to launch a UAV and run back to us. This is in quick play too.
I haven't noticed ECM being OP. I never carry it but I think it's handy when it's available.
Maybe OP is just having bad luck lately?

Both of these are extinct concepts. There are no more IS 'Mechs over-quirked and the best one merely competes with the Timber Wolf.
Blackjacks are about as squishy as a Huntsman.

Heavy Gear 2 actually had a quirk system. Your Gear had a maximum threat level it could be, and so you would pick drawbacks to lower your rating so you could fit better guns or positive quirks to complement your equipment.
It was awesome.
