I mean, to physically turn your head to look out your mechs windows or see various screens instead of having a static HUD imprinted over the sceen would be amazing would it not?

The natural peripheral vision of the human eye is much faster than your mouse would be if you had to hold a free-look key to look around. That means you would be able to spot flankers much faster from the corner of your eye, as opposed to other players without multi-monitor support which would have to manually look left or right to see the same.
Maybe I don't understand it correctly, but I don't know how they could implement it without breaking balance.

However, I would think that a multi-display should NOT increase your field of view.

given that at 1080p and low setting for crysis 2 with 3 monitor setup can be achieved with a $150 with a Radeon HD 6790, and we're talking about the same game engine, that's not that hard to consider as this is intended to be a higher end game than most F2P MMOs by what I can tell.
Personally, I feel it would be like the premium content- you get a bit extra for what you pay for but nothing which would break the game. eyefinity just gives you a bigger picture, doesn't make you react faster or have more skill.

Thats almost impossible... if you allow multi-monitor support and don't increase the FoV it messes up the aspect ratio.
Those complaining that multi-monitor improved FoV gives an advantage... guess what so does everything else on a top end gamming rig... Macroable keyboard (no way to counter), super high sensitivity mouse (can't counter), 7.1 SRS, Fios line ( no counter), Track IR, the list goes on and on... face it those who are willing to fork it out for an advantage are going to get it one way or another

Exactly. It's not really that high end any more as even $100+ ATI cards support 3 monitors, I use a 5770 I bought 2 years ago for $175. And used monitors are cheap, free even if you are willing to go with old school crt. In fact if I was doing my rig again I think I would go for 3 salvaged 4:3 office lcd monitors for the cost of one new 1080, or even the 16:10's I have now.
My point is that many rigs bought to run this game will be capable of running triple monitors and it shouldn't be considered an elite perk but a capability inherent in current generation PCs.
Please, please, please properly support eyefinity at minimum change the FOV and preferably center the hud. As a user I can tell you I won't really be playing your game much if it doesn't at least fhange the FOV as it's really hard to go back to a single monitor after enjoying 3, there are a lot of games I just stopped playing when I got the 3rd screen

By good I mean minimally speaking the ability to move UI elements around so they aren't way off to the sides where you have to turn and look at them...
.......but what I'd REALLY like to see is the ability to use a 2nd and maybe third monitor just to display UI elements WITHOUT going to a super huge ultra wide resolution on the 3d world. Going to a huge FOV looks cool, but it takes a heck of a computer to run 5760x1200 resolution at high settings on a new game and get good frame rates.
I want the center screen to be my view out the windshield, and my other screens to show the map, damage, ammo, etc. displays.

What i really would like to see though is multi-monitor support that will allow dragging vairous parts of the HUD to their own dedicated screens. Left and right views out the cockpit perhaps, radar displays, weapons/armor status etc. I intend to build a "pod" or "simpit" as many call them for this game. Big on the simulator feel.
But Eyefinity.. for sure.

Track IR sounds really cool though, and if that was supported I'd definitely shell out for that. But it sounds much less likely than eyefinity.
