Not to seem ungrateful and we love our buddies at -D5- but shouldn't we (Storm Jaguar) be fifth and them sixth since we beat them in the 3-team playoff and played in Regionals?

EDIT: Now that I look at it, the rest of the Top 5 looks a bit wonky too.

paul, i believe your list is inaccurate. the NA regional finals resulted with 1) Emp, 2) 228th, 3) SJR, 4) Lords, 5) Storm Jaguar, followed by 6) D5, 7) KCOM, 8) Smoke Adders, 9) SiG, 10) Isengrim, after factoring in head-to-head matches.

A question just to make it clear. If we choose to redeem packs later the we can do it up to Dec 2017? Or we need to choose till dec 2016?

What was dec 2016 deadline about? Do we need to inform if we are holding selection before December 1st 2016? Or we need to choose the pack until that date and cannot hold selection after?

Terciel, Storm, D5 and 228 ended Qualifiers 'tied' with 4 losses each. During the mini round after, D5 lost, so they should be 6th. Did Storm & 228 play in the mini-round? If not, Storm beat 228 in regular play and should be ranked 4th, not 5th.

I don't have a horse in that race, so, I'll just leave that there.

In the 3-way, we (Storm Jaguar) and 228th both defeated -D5- before we played each other, so we didn't play because there was no need, as we were already the 4th and 5th seeds and would be playing head to head. They defeated us in the Regionals and went on to finish 2nd, losing to EmP in the finals. The top 5 should be driven by the Regionals and should be: EmP, 228BW, SJR, HoL, Storm Jaguar.

Hey guys. Swim's here.

I was a member of MS Redshirts team and we ranked 7th in EU region.

Thing is, I'm not planning to play MWO any more. Thus I have no interest in the rewards 7th place provide. So I would like to let out team captain, Antonius Rex, decide how to redistribute them. This way prizes won't go to waste and will be received by someone who can make use of them.

Apologies for the email issues yesterday!
They have all been sent out now.

To clarify, you have until December 2017 to make your choice! (I made a Typo on some of the NA teams and wrote 2016 instead, sorry about that I wasn't feeling too well yesterday and derped)

As for the MC, C-bills and Mechbay prize, we'll inject those to each player (on top 10 teams) automatically as it does not depend your responses.

Now IF by any chance you cannot get your Team Captain to contact us your request because it's 5 months later and you havn't been in contact with them for whatever reasons, you can send us an email to support at general@mwomercs.com
We're keeping track of each player individually as to if you have retrieved or saved your prize request etc.. so no panic there! Just make sure to add your team name so it makes it easier for us to find your prize status~
Subs count too! Eeeverybody on your roster gets the prize.

Now the post below has the order of teams ranking for the prizes. Note that it is not according to the qualifiers ranking that you currently see on the website from the round robin results! It will include the Regional Finals results here.

The Prizes for 2nd and 3rd place is the exact same.
4th and 5th is the same.
6th and 7th is the same
8th, 9th and 10th is also the same.
So if you are 8th instead of 9th according to my chart below, do not worry, it's because you were a possible tie with that other team, however you are receiving the same prizes as them in the end.

This is what happens when you post at the end of a lonnnng day. Apologies.

I simply cut and paste from the regional qualifier leaderboard and forgot that those leaderboards do not take into account the regional finals.

The regional finals take precedence over the qualifiers and the top 5 ordering is out of whack.

congratulations to everyone that go a prize for the tournament! looks like my team missed it by 1 spot.

I was under the impression that it was based on what rank or pace you achieved (SRoT got 7th because of all the ties) but I guess that is not the case.

thank you everyone that participated in the tournament, and thank you PGI for all the time and effort that was invested into making it fun and engaging.

I hope that the next championship will be more balanced (QUIRKS!), less time consuming (not round robin), and that more people will participate and stay until the end.

GL to everyone who made it to the finals at Mech Con, I look forward to watching the matches!

Yea, I'll get the request to our DBA today, I think he should be able to get it done by tomorrow.

As for the other question that came up to giving the pack prize to someone else (if player no longer active...) Unfortunately no. The prizes cannot be given to another player other than the ones who have won it.

I think this sums up the angle i'm looking at the in-game prizes from well:

Think of one of these players who plans to invest that $$$, ACTUALLY invest it. Into college, savings, retirement, loans or debt, rent, down payment, etc. Let's say they invest ALL of their winnings into something IRL that is more important than in-game content. Yes, that's amazing that they were given this opportunity. But now they have nothing related to MWO as a result of this tournament. Nothing in-game to play with and feel good about winning to encourage them to continue playing for fun. Nothing to bring that player excitement after the finals to hop back into MWO

Well the issue was answered and probably won't be posted here, so why leave the conversation open when there is nothing further to discuss? Honestly I shouldn't have posted anything, because I hadn't thought through it fully.
