I heard from somewhere, that Atlas' eyes used to glow. I think it was TV Tropes. It was taken away, because it gave away Atlas' position.

Was it really scary?

Also, what if it gets reimplemented, but the glow diminishes at a certain range, that it's the brightest when you're really close. Just as well, it doesn't glow when you can't target it if it were like ECM-ed?

Or just a simple toggle with the baydoors.

Glowing Kodiak eyes would be scary. Glowing Atlas eyes would just make me think: "Oh. There's an Atlas. I better take out his RT before I get closer".

You know how you can do the "snikt" on the KDK claws with the missile bay door key? if only you could do something like that on the AS7 eyes...

Back in the day, they indeed used to glow and it was cool as heck.
Shame they removed it. They could've at least made it a toggle-able function (like Kodiak's claws or missile doors) and maybe even customizable (different colors for MC)

Eyes should glow each time you pull the trigger. In fact, this should be on all mechs. How about some glowing decals when hot, and some when firing?

Ooooo! If I could get the text and symbols of the FireBrand to glow when firing that would be worth a mech pack or two for sure.

Imagine: The bones on the Phranken pattern pulsing with each shot, while glowing brighter and brighter as you heat up.

Still, I bet it would make you an easier target tho... certainly easier to pick off components... (which I think is why the Atlas eye glow was removed. It would kinda encourage an in bound dual Gauss).

Still, you could label it "hard mode" customisation...

Yeah the Atlas needs it's Glowy eyes back, even just change it to a reflective red just like some of the neon camo paints. Atlas' eyes now looks like a man dead inside, a man in need of having glowy eyes back. Please PGI, the Atlas needs more spookyness to ward off Kodiaks.

Gasp no! Don't give them any more ideas for purchasable things with MC! They might actually understand their consumer base and stop pushing mech packs! By the way? Do you want a mech pack?

AT VERY LEAST. Give it back for Halloween! Sheesh. That would have been EASY. 50 MC for glowing eyes for one day etc. Easy sale PGI.

Glow effects or particularly vivid colors would als be an easy way to make Hero's worth buying without p2w. Give em these sorts of special effects. e.g. Huggin paint scheme...the raven outline glows. The Yen Lo Wang sunburst. The heart on the IV-4 a more vivid red pumping. That kind of thing.

I want my glowing Atlas Eyes back!

I'd pay a one time MC unlock fee even! (And I was around for glowing Atlas Eyes)

I wish a lot of things had a glow toggle. Atlas eyes, for one. Hellbringer and Warhammer shoulder spotlights for another.

Yes, bring back the Atlas Glowing eyes. I need more head shots.

FYI - the eye on the Atlas is the head hitbox, so the glowing eye was a head shot beacon and made it exceedingly easy to take them out especially at range.
