I fully understand the beefs.........from players that still play this game. It's not where it should be, but it's still here, playable, and has good potential.
I DO NOT understand the ex players who have left this game for whatever reasons continuing to post their poison on this forum like a jilted lover......"If I can't enjoy it, nobody can!"
THAT................is the point I'm making.

Personally, I don't understand why you love using the period key so much. But I'm not making a fuss saying you shouldn't do it. If that's what you enjoy, have fun. You may even have a good reason for it that we don't know about.

Two different people there though.
One group is people who occassionally still play and interact with the game, though often in alts. They are frustraited but still would happily turn back into fans if suddenly PGI did a 180 and delivered the depth of content promised prior but then never shipped to the island.
The other group left long ago and just still have a hate on for PGI. Their rage is often expressed in personal attacks against soecific PGI employees, etc. Yeah, they're in the bushes, fapping with sandpaper and crying over how PGI will rue the day it messed with them. RUE THE DAY!
Most the later guys are not on this forum. They got banned (and rightly so) a while ago. Most (maybe all) the bittervets here stay on the forums either because they play once in a blue moon in an alt or they are oddly, sickly hopeful it'll turn around.

And there are people who acknowledge the improvements they've made, still play the game, but are sometimes baffled by the apparent stupidity of certain changes or lack thereof. Minimap anyone?
Edit: Yes, they fixed it, but they let the abomination go live first. I still don't understand why. Were they running out of salt?

Looking into this thread again and again
Nothing useful to add, so I wasn't actually geting into it
But I just gotta ask

Who might that be?
I've seen many posting actually ingame, either live or PTS
I've even seen Imperious logged in
Also there's very little positive (or anything at all) to talk about
Nicest thing even on twitter was Tina stealing Mike's "throne"
Like the other thread says
Town Hall, to talk about what?
Things stay hidden for mech con
But then doesn't need to be a 4 hour long one either

Imperius has logged in but hasn't played since Feb (he's said many times that he loads up mechlab spins a mech and logs out.)

Ex players, many who have probably spent 10X what you've spent on the game have every right to complain, lament, or try and steer the ship back on course. Not your job the be the gatekeeper of the forums. Keep up your white knighting till PGI lies about something ingame you are passionate about, then re-evaluate your attacks on others.

that reminds me about EVE online where ship spinning was a bigger part of the game (so big they implemented a Ship Spin Counter... those dudes really had some taste of humor) than actual undocking LOL.

True enough
What does he complain about though?
About Russ saying at a townhall he would not forget about Imperius and his MkII?
At a slow progress ingame?
Edit:
Those seem legit enough of to me, because progress is indeed slow
Or does he engage actually in gaming balance issues a lot while not actually playing? (Which he doesn't)

I have a feeling all the bitter vets aren't going to respond to all YOUR drivel.
Well, after reading through this thread, OP did catch some fish
They should not be called "bitter vets." The term is entirely inaccurate.
A more appropriate term would be " bitter founders." They are not vets, There was and is no "war" between developers and the customers. The bitter founders are just customers like us; bitter sometimes to the core but still, just customers.
Their opinion is just as important as the rest of ours as long as they exercise courtesy in conveying their message. Any who use rude, annoying, immature, cretin-like communications really ought not to write anything until they learn how to communicate like mature, intelligent adults making clear, rational statements.
Though this may sound draconian, those that cannot do that really should not be given any attention at all.
