That's... weird. I'd probably settle for random locations near center of the map, instead. Ideally the MFBs should reduce timer when destroyed (increase the MFB numbers but make it so that all MFBs destroyed will immediately grant victory) so people will have reason to split up and protect them.

Actually, setting it around a roving object with a random starting point would be pretty interesting, especially if you shorten the cap time such that you can't just go off and kill everybody while ignoring it.
Would not work on many of the current maps, though. Only Polar and Alpine, maybe Forest.

They need to do something to balance Domination on Alpine, one side has cover and the other doesn't. Crimson has a problem where one team spawns right next to the circle and the other team doesn't so a light mech can get the timer down to 10-20 seconds left before anyone can get there to stop it, I've had matches were the enemy team had no lights and we had 1 LCT and won at 1 minute 30 seconds passed in the match.
Having a more diverse domination, one where the circle moves or shrinks or appears in different locations each time would really spice up the mode and help with the more problem maps.

Daggummit, I said that first, immediately after Domination came out, well without the shrinking part anyhow.
I think it would add a layer of complexity to the match, forcing teams to adapt and change cover as it moves around the map. Would make for a much more promising game mode.
I'm not too sure I like the shrinking idea, because it forces mechs into close combat towards the end, which would likely put longer range builds in a bad position.
