I responded to your same claim in another thread. You are being deceptive, FW not being what you want it to be is not the same thing as content not being delivered.
posting a video about what they wanted FW to be and it not turing out like that is another issue, even if it was better than it was now, it still would not be the same things as the video. Things in development rarely are.
You seriously underscore and over-simplify what this video promised and what has been delivered. This video
is PGI telling us what we will be getting... not /randomgeneratedmwoaddictguy.
Content is content. PGI straight-up told us that the CW game will have bases that you can upgrade, that is content that PGI said we would get. There is nothing unclear about this. Yes? No?
PGI told the community that we will have jumpships, economics, and all the other things within the video, is there anything said in that video that is ambiguous? Did Bryan Ekman at anytime use the word maybe we'll develop and release this or that? No. Bryan was extremely clear on what PGI was going to develop.
This event and video was used to sell us, the community who wanted CW, an in-depth game mode that would immerse us in the BattleTech and Mechwarrior universe. It was used to help sell the entire MWO community the Clan Collection pack and the Gold Mech packs. CW was even used to help sell the Clan Wave 1, Resistance and Clan Wave 2 packs, except by Wave 2 the community was beginning to wake up to the reality of what they weren't delivering.
This video, and everything that PGI told us over the course of the next year, was all used to sell the MWO community Mechpacks that supported the CW game mode. CW has been from the beginning till now an extremely basic shell of what CW was promised to be. Delivering a shell of a game-mode is insufficient and deceptive on PGI's behalf.
It's like pre-buying a 2017 3500 Longhorn Edition RAM pickup and when you get it, sure it has a body and an engine, but it's a cloth one seater, has a speedometer with a 4 Liter engine under the hood... that's it. Yes the brochure had all these fancy words and pictures with all sorts of exciting features, but heck it's only content they promised to deliver... right?
All I expect from PGI is the content they told us we would get. There was nothing ambiguous about what Bryan told us PGI would be developing and delivering. PGI has so far failed to deliver and they deserve to be hauled out on the carpet for it; especially for the amount of $$ that people put out in Mechpacks to support the promised CW mode.
MWO going forward.... good luck PGI. I won't be paying for anything till you actually deliver what you say you're going to deliver. No more shell games.
