Look up the old Mechwarrior cartoons to try and capture some of that nostalgia?

That I am doing, actualy but I think I am gonna go hit the gym for a few hours and work out the frustration that way, if only there were audio books of the novels then I would be in heaven.

This company did do some audio books a while back, I don't know if they still have that ability. I found some over at a Half Price books store.

I just pre-ordered mine a few days ago. Really geeking out about it. I bought a few IWM minis a few weeks ago, and I just can't stop looking up battletech stuff. Also been playing MWLL a lot. I am such a nerd...

Just got a email from CCG Armory, they have a solid date 1/25! Although the price has gone up, CCG armory was kind enough to take care of me since I pre ordered at a lower price, I hoighly erecommend them if you are looking at grabbing one they seem very communicative and professional.

I'm hinting very strongly for my wife to do this for my birthday. I've got a second edition box set that I use but I'd like to set something aside for when my son is old enough.

I gave in and ordered it, CCG still has it at a great price. Grimm, it turned out to be my "birthday present" from my wife after I ordered it, cop out ^_^

Anyone know where it can be preordered in the UK (well prefareably in Ireland but would be amazed if it was to be found anywhere here). Amazons UK site lists the 2011 version as unavailable and as not knowing when will be in stock. Did find it as 'back in stock soon' at Wayland Games but their p&p is nearly half again the cost as courier option only making it at pit pricey at over €60 ($80/£51).

Not that I'll ever get to play it, probably just sit in pile of my other classic boadgames that everyone sees and 'wants' to play but never actually wants to sit down and play.

What did you all order? I am new to battletech, and looking to get started. Checked out CCG, but didnt see any box sets under battletech. The only box sets I was able to find was under the mechwarrior section, but those are the actioncliks. I have been able to find the 25th Anniversary Introductory box set on other sites, and thinking about that. What you alls take? Thanks for the help guys.

firefox117, http://www.ccgarmory...bainboxset.html As far as i can tell its still the best deal around. However shipping from them is kind pricey. Cost me around $10 to ship, but it was still just less than MSRP, and since there is no local game shop anywhere near me I find that a pretty good deal.

Thanks for that. I did notice that one, but wasnt sure if it was the same as what you all were talking about. Even with shipping, that is the cheapest price Ive seen. I know what Ill be picking up.

I played my very first BT TT game today, sure it was just me vs me with a Hunchy and Enforcer using quick start rules but it was still great!

Awesome!
When you're working on those resin minis, best to use a hobby knife to remove the flash instead of trying to file them. The files can cause curling of the plastic. I learned that the hard way :D.
