Is running Into me with my Quad AC Night Gyr build. It's not fair. I have to say it really isn't. I recently realized that I could use this mech to basically destroy anything. Even running up against a Kodiak doesnt give me the Willy's anymore. Yeah it's a fair fight with a Kodiak or a King Crab or Dire Wolf...etc. You all know the feeling of getting hit continually with AC rounds from maybe a Rifleman or Jagermech across the battlefield. Times that by 10 and see how quickly they back up. I love it. I also call it the clean up build. I can wait a little bit for the battle to die down or when alot of enemy mechs are hurt and walk on in and dakka dakka dakka dakka. I love you all

On the other hand, 3/4 of my Gyr's CUAC5s tend to jam on my first double tap. In plain sight of the enemies I wanted to pulverize.

Feels bad, man.

Oh yeah! Also double tapping should either be used like crazy over long distances or in a last resort before death.
If doing double tapping, at least split groups so you dont get the jeebez when all of the jam at once with a Dire staring you down..

Quad kdk-3 in high mounts, Quad Night Gyr, in high mounts, paired Hunchback high mounts, Arctic Cheetah..

Another reason FW is empty, don't cha think ;)

Also, I'm kinda getting tired of all the Dakka Spam.. And people whine and moan over LRMs.. dakka is way more "easy win" than LRMs..

Happens to me all the time in my Jade Kite build (2 UAC/10, 4 MPL). I either got through the match without jamming once or my ACs jam every time I try to double tap.

It's my dream to run into cocky ballistic builds around 750m, I love dodging rounds and getting full damage from my laser.

It's my nightmare to run into the same builds after I've popped a UAV in the middle of their entire team and have gotten my leg stuck in terrain while trying to escape to my preferred distance.

I love it when the last mechs left on the enemy team are dakka mechs.

They are virtually completly defenseless vs no face time weapons.

Dunno who u been cleaning up but any half good player would easily destroy any dakka build without a sweat.

Dakka is weak.

Only strong vs the brainless pug armies that just wander about.

Any player that actually knows how to play will destroy dakka builds. Acs are too slow. Specially clan acs are ultra weak weapons.

But yeah. I see how kodiaks, gyrs or basically anything boatiing cu-acs destroys the cannonfodder armies in pug games. But thats like killing an ai from the 1960s on easy mode. Puggers die to anything even a small laser carried by child with no idea how to even fire the laser.

This is why I always bring lasers as secondary weapons when riding a dakka build mech. That feel when your UAC is jammed after few shot firing a fresh prey. And also when you out of ammo, you can still fight with lasers.

I own both the Night Gyr and the Kodiaks. I do not see how the Night Gyr can eat through Kodiaks since the KDK3 carries bigger cannons, more ammo, more armor and higher mounts. It's not what I call a fair fight on its own, but it is a fair fight if you account for the Tonnage difference.

battlemaster high mounts, grasshopper high mounts more speed, shadowhawk high mounts, spider hitboxes?

Ironically I kind of crazily brawled with 2 Dakka Kodaik's and a Dakka Night Gyr in my Nova and wrecked all 3 mostly solo. Got 2 Kills, 1 Solo kill and a KMDD out of those brawls. Personally I think the 12 ER SL, 4 MG Nova is OP...either that or these mechs aren't Op after all.
