Alternate Mw Voices?

I don't think it would be too difficult to record some new lines, though could be costly depending on who they hired to voice it.
But could have different accents, clan voices, female voices, etcetera. Players could choose which voice they wanted to represent them. PGI could even sell them for MC or whatnot.
I think it would be worthwhile.

I was hoping it was only an early version that they would keep updating, but it looks like we're stuck with a command wheel that lacks some of the most important commands (and thus, we're still using team chat a lot) and also repetitive voices that are identical for any faction and any pilot, regardless of gender.
<sigh>

Bummer. Using a Dawn of War Imperial Guard voice mod might have injected some life into the games sound.

Nope.
I want command wheel options for "stupid team" and "you guys didn't protect me at all".
Then I want a voice for a drunk middle-aged man sitting in his underwear.

I always felt bad killing Exalt troops, and wished there was a way to ally with them. But then they'd use better tech than me and I'd have to wipe them out fast because why the hell do they have plasma weapons when I JUST got lasers?!?!

Eh. More mechs is good, but I think they can at the same time diversify their offerings.
Like - think of Baldurs gate or another RPG where you make a character, pick a portrait and then pick a voice for that character. If you could have 10 or 20 voices to choose from, even if you had to buy 'em, that'd be great. The PGI staff could even do some of the voices if they have anyone talented enough.
Can do some ethnic voices as well, or maybe voices in different languages (but the text would be in english). So some dude can be a Kurita Japanese guy, another guy a Liao Russian, a Steiner German, a scottish Highlander from the Northwind merc company. etcetera

We dont even have different pilot models to choose from, even tough people have asked for this kind of minor customisation for ages... i really dont think we can get 10 different voices...
At this point asking for new features is an excercise on futility. It is nothing more that a conversation between MechWarriors, wondering what could have been.
On the other hand, PGI is a small developer, so i dont think they have the man power to work on new mechs, art reworks and updates in a mayor scale at the same time. so we must be contempt with what we have, i guess?
